🚨 Exciting Announcement! 🚨 I never thought I’d be saying this, but I’m launching a podcast. It’s called “Fractured Failures” and it’s something I feel deeply compelled to do. For years, I’ve witnessed countless people battling a systems that are supposed to protect and support them—but too often, they fail. These are stories of courage, resilience and heartbreak—stories that demand to be heard. I’ve never had an interest in starting a podcast, but here’s the thing: we can’t create real change without shining a light on the gaping holes in the system. “Fractured Failures” will uncover these stories and call for accountability, compassion and reform. This isn’t just about exposing what’s broken—it’s about empowering all of us to demand better. The systems are failing too many people and that’s something we cannot ignore. The first episode drops soon and I promise, these stories will move you, challenge you and I hope, inspire you to join the fight for change. Stay tuned. This is just the beginning. #podcast #failingsystems #auspol #ndis #domesticviolence #community #socialservices #transperency #accountability #nomore #systemfailure #fracturedfailures #nottheonlyone #federalcandidate #goldcoast #australia

What would it look like for churches to start a podcast that serves as a low-barrier point of entry for newcomers? Imagine opening an application and seeing a podcast that says, "Hey, are you new here? Check out our podcast." This podcast could feature interviews with members of the congregation, sharing their personal stories and testimonies. For example, someone might have been a non-tither for years until they felt a strong conviction to give, leading to a transformative experience. Others might share deeply personal stories, like the loss of a child, and how their faith helped them through such difficult times. Listening to these testimonies could help newcomers engage more deeply with the community, providing a richer layer of conversation when they meet people in person. This approach not only welcomes new members but also strengthens the bonds within the congregation. Curious to hear more about this idea? Check out the full episode. I have worked with and managed several colleagues in the #humanitarian industry who have had to work apart from their partners for extended periods. It's a real sacrifice made by couples and families who to make the world a better place. Here's some guidance on how to coach people living that life. #aid #development #HR #management
Do you have clients whose partners are often away with work? Many couples experience short periods apart, however, there are a lot of professions that mean partners are away for longer periods, often months and years at a time. In this podcast, as coaches, we get some top tips about how to work with couples and families who live in split locations. Joining podcast host, Jenny Butter, are Rhoda Bangerter 🇬🇧 🇫🇷 and Florence Reisch. Rhoda is an expat coach who works with people whose partners are often away from home, helping them navigate the stress and use the distance to their best advantage. Florence, also a coach, received coaching from Rhoda to help her prepare for her husband living in another country while she and her children lived in a third country.
