Porter’s Five Forces model is taught as a way to understand industry landscape and the power dynamic relationships playing out – examples: Power of Buyer; Power of Supplier, etc. If you think about it, power dynamics play out in every relationship we have: parent-child; between spouses; teacher-student; policeman-citizen; boss-subordinate… etc. If you have something I need, or vice versa, our power dynamic is set. A new actor in the world of film/theatre has no power and is exploited – until they reach a level of fame to be able to get an equitable deal. So on and so forth. The lesson here: power dynamics shapes each and every human interaction we have. Understand it…

Hey! Did you know why Sylvester Stallone created "Rocky"? Stallone was deeply influenced by his observations of societal challenges, including what he could see & we still see today as an increasing trend away from Christian values & he wanted to do something about it! Just like we should today! In his scriptwriting process, Stallone sought to counteract these negative influences by portraying the story of Rocky Balboa, a character who embodies perseverance, redemption, and the triumph of the human spirit. The Rocky films hold themes such as perseverance, determination, and overcoming adversity, which resonate with Christian values. The character of Rocky Balboa often displays qualities like humility, compassion, and the willingness to sacrifice for others, which are virtues Jesus calls us to in relationship with Him! In Ephesians 6:12, it says, "For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." This verse resonates with Stallone's motivation to depict Rocky as someone who faces intimidating obstacles with courage and faith. The themes in "Rocky" reflect biblical principles of endurance and the belief that through faith, individuals can overcome challenges. While the films themselves do not explicitly promote faith in Jesus Christ as a central theme, we can see many parallels between Rocky's journey and biblical narratives of resilience and redemption. Stallone's intention was to inspire hope and resilience, encouraging audiences to find strength in their faith amidst adversity. With that said, have a blessed day and keep the faith! 🙏🏽❤️💯:)

FASCINATING: My all-time favorite actor... on WHY he wrote "Rocky". Spoiler alert: he was sick of the "anti-Christ" movement in society. REPOST and amplify THIS message!! #thinblueline #lawenforcement
