✨ A Winter Wedding in Dubai – A Gentle Reminder to Savor the Season ❄️💍 Yesterday, I had the pleasure of attending a breathtaking winter-themed wedding here in Dubai. Yes, Dubai – where the desert sands meet luxury, and winter feels like a soft embrace rather than a chilly storm. The venue was transformed into a magical winter wonderland, with white florals, sparkling lights, and a cozy charm that made it easy to forget we were in the heart of a bustling city. As the couple exchanged vows under a canopy of shimmering crystals, surrounded by family and friends, I couldn’t help but pause and take it all in. The laughter, the clinking glasses, the heartfelt toasts – these were the moments that made the evening unforgettable. And it struck me: isn’t that what this entire season is about? The festive season is a lot like that wedding. It invites us to slow down, celebrate love in all its forms, and surround ourselves with people who matter most. Yet, so often, we let the busyness of life blur these moments. We get consumed by the deadlines, the errands, and the constant rush to do more, forgetting that being present is more valuable than anything we could achieve. As we approach the festive season, whether you're in snowy peaks or sunny Dubai, I believe it’s a time to reflect, reconnect, and rejoice. Let’s allow ourselves to be present – to create memories, nurture relationships, and lead with gratitude in our personal and professional lives. Leadership isn’t just about driving results; it’s about inspiring others to live fully, just as that wedding inspired me yesterday. This season, let’s focus not just on achievements but on the people and moments that light up our lives. To everyone reading this: I hope the coming weeks bring you joy, warmth, and plenty of reasons to celebrate. What’s your favorite part of the festive season? Let’s share and spread the cheer. 🌟 Follow Nessrine Hertelli for more reflections, inspiration, and leadership insights! #FestiveSeason #WinterWeddings #MomentsThatMatter #LeadershipWithHeart #CelebrateLife

In a bid to encourage domestic tourism and celebrations, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has advocated for Indians to choose local venues over international ones with his “Wed In India” campaign. Prominent Indian celebrities, including Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra, as well as Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chaddha, have all opted to celebrate their nuptials within India, further fueling the trend of lavish weddings across the nation. The demand for banquet halls is experiencing a significant revival, propelled by the renewed popularity of grand Indian weddings. A recent report revealed a 28 percent increase in online searches for wedding banquet halls, with nearly half of this interest peaking between February and May. This surge in demand was even more pronounced in tier II cities, indicating a nationwide movement towards grander celebrations. The Indian banquet industry is witnessing a pivotal transformation, with a shift from traditional standalone halls to sophisticated hotel banquet facilities. As the Indian wedding sector, currently valued at USD 50 billion, continues to expand, hotels must rethink their approach to catering to this lucrative market segment. #indianwedding #hospitality #hotelbanquet https://lnkd.in/d8Ec2d7q

Weddings in India are becoming grander, with the average budget for 2024 rising to Rs 37 lakh, marking a 7% increase from last year, according to a report by WedMeGood. While 9% of couples splurged over Rs 1 crore on their wedding, another 9% spent between Rs 50 lakh and Rs 1 crore. Meanwhile, 40% managed their celebrations within Rs 15 lakh, followed by 23% who spent Rs 25 lakh to Rs 50 lakh and 19% in the Rs 15 lakh to Rs 25 lakh range. Destination weddings emerged as a significant trend, with average budgets climbing to Rs 51 lakh. Personal and family savings financed 82% of weddings, while 12% of couples relied on loans, and 6% used asset liquidation to fund their big day.
