I spotted a few chocolate Santa's in the supermarket yesterday. I could lie and say "IT'S TOO EARLY FOR CHRISTMAS THINGS" or "IT'S NOT EVEN HALLOWEEN YET" but I love it really. It's another reminder that peak season is upon us. Retailers will enter a code-freeze soon. They'll sell, sell, sell over the next few months to billions of consumers. Sadly, a chunk of those consumers will have a poor returns experience, never to use the brand again. (Over 60% of shoppers have stated that they'd stop buying from a retailer if they had a bad returns experience) RETAILERS! With minimal tech-lift (or often no tech-lift), you could offer a great returns experience this peak season. Access our paperless and packageless return drop-off options via Kohl's and FedEx office locations today. It should be your goal to have these shoppers buying from you again in 2025. Drop me a DM if you'd like to learn more. Time to go eat some horrifically bland Santa chocolate while pretending it's not the middle of September. Cue the Home Alone soundtrack... #returns #returnsmanagement #returnsdropoff #ecommerce #inmar #inmarjourney

Too early for the C word? I know, I know… it’s only just June. We’re more than 6 months away from Christmas, but it seems that some people are getting ahead of the game. But are they crazy or smart? You might have heard about the recent attacks on vessels in the Red Sea? Attacks like these can have an impact on freight capacity, and price. Some big retailers are worried it could impact their Christmas deliveries. So, instead of just waiting for Santa to arrive, they are getting their stock (and stockings!) in early. Planning ahead can be a good way to get the best freight prices. But what do you think? Too soon for Christmas? https://lnkd.in/ewsuv4t9

What's the biggest factor motivating you to expand your storage or #warehouse? The US #warehousing and storage industry market share has continued to grow an average of 2.7% from 2018 to 2023 (IBISWorld), likely with the continuing increase in not only population but of online shopping.

Post 37 - One of my favorite things to do is after a holiday is to go to the store and buy the holiday candy when its 50% off. Its still the same candy, just a day or two older than it was yesterday (lets not kid ourselves, it is still as good/fresh as it was the day before and will be the same the day after that). What is brilliant about this though is, the store is getting what they want out of this too, and they're likely still turning a profit on the sale. Sure, it is not as big of a profit, and if a store is desperate they may sell the product at a loss to get it off the shelves because other stuff on the shelves would likely be more profitable, but they're still making money off of me. I'm still choosing to go to the store and buy that thing rather than spending my money elsewhere. The lesson of this is, discounts and deals are meant to make you buy things that you may not have purchased at full price. You're still giving them your money, so who's winning in the scenario?
