We all know women who face challenges head-on. They don’t back down. They don’t give in. They rise, stronger and more resilient each time. But here’s the thing — resilience doesn’t just happen. It’s built through facing those challenges with courage, confidence, and a little wink. When women lead with resilience, entire teams, organizations, and communities rise alongside them. Let’s celebrate resilient women leaders who inspire us every day. Who comes to mind? Alisha Ally, Global Development Visionary.

Who are your top five inspirational female leaders in your industry? I instantly thought of Verona Frankish, Nicola Firth, Penny Desborough, Pam Barbato and Rachael Hunnisett. And I could have named many more. But I consider these as inspirational leaders that just happen to be female. Success, knowledge and expertise should be celebrated and normalised regardless of gender, social economic background, disability or ethnicity. We all grow and benefit when we all help to create an environment that enables everyone to achieve their potential. #internationalwomensday2024

What an incredible conversation with Demi Knight Clark on RFM. Demi has done it all—leading divisions, founding a nonprofit for women in trades, and championing diversity in manufacturing. She is driving change where it matters most. Here are some of the insights she unpacked: Why manufacturing needs to reclaim its place in the STEM spotlight. How to recruit diverse talent by meeting people where they are. Why listening and servant leadership open the door for innovation. Practical ways to reach the next generation of trade professionals. Demi’s vision for connecting STEM organizations and untapped communities like women’s sports is next level. Her ability to see what’s possible and inspire action is exactly what our industry needs right now. Thank you, Demi, for being a true force for progress. Conversations like this remind me why I love highlighting leaders who make a real difference. #RapidFireManufacturing #ThankAMachinist #ThankAnEngineer #ManufacturingLeadership #WomenInTrades #DiversityInSTEM #WorkforceDevelopment #FutureOfManufacturing David Turner

This week, I wrote to my fellow women leaders (and I know there are a ton of you out there) who may feel "stuck." Whether you're in fintech, financial services, or some other industry, I've shared a few thoughts about owning the gap, then closing it (and how you actually can do that). P.S. The male allies out there can also benefit from this...because, in the end, we're all here to support each other along on the journey. #mentoring #leadership #fintech #executivewomen #allyship

Often people join or leave organizations because of their manager. One that promotes personal growth, gives space at the table for every voice to develop our strategic priorities so that we are ALL invested, and is a people-first leader while working closely with our HR team and other Execs to make the company an employer of choice….that’s mine. She is why I am at R&Q. Check her out below. Who is yours? #leadingbyexample RISE Professionals
