🎁 Day 11 of our 12 Days of Undie Giving for #GivingTuesday 🎁 Today, we’re shining a light on Mathew’s Closet in Mesa, AZ — an organization dedicated to providing a safe, judgment-free zone for children with open DCS cases and their families. 👨👩👧👦 Serving 300 individuals every month, Mathew’s Closet ensures that families in need — often arriving with little more than the clothes on their backs — can access essentials at no cost. Their support extends to everyone from infants to adults aged 64, offering dignity and hope as families work to rebuild their lives. Last month, with your support, we donated 664 lbs of new underwear, bras, pajamas, and leggings to Mathew’s Closet. 💕 These basics make a huge difference for families taking their next steps toward stability. This Giving Tuesday, let’s keep the generosity going. 🎄 Every bra recycled or new pair of underwear donated helps empower families like those served by Mathew’s Closet. Recycle gently used bras, donate new underwear, or make a monetary contribution through our nonprofit, The Undie Chest, to support those in need this Giving Tuesday. 👉 Get involved: https://lnkd.in/eQc9BWwY #SeasonOfGiving #GivingTuesday

As we approach the holiday season, the growing trend of the "Reverse Advent Calendar" is offering a refreshing way to embrace the spirit of giving. 🤲 Instead of receiving something each day, families and children are encouraged to donate an item they no longer use—whether it’s toys, clothes, or food—building a collection of gifts for a special cause. This practice is not just about decluttering before the Christmas rush, it’s an opportunity to teach children the importance of generosity. By donating things they’ve outgrown or no longer need, kids learn the value of giving a new life to what they don't use anymore and can make others happy. ♻️ For parents, it’s a chance to clear out the clutter before new gifts arrive, making space for what truly matters. In our opinion, the Reverse Advent Calendar is a meaningful tradition that can make this holiday season about more than just receiving, but also about giving and making a difference for others and for the planet. 🌎🌟 #CircleToys #PlayItAgain #climatechange #circulareconomy #SustainablePlay #CircularSwitzerland #circulartoys #sustainablechristmas #prelovedtoys

Get the kids involved this holiday season! There are so many wonderful ways for children to experience the joy of giving and make a difference in their communities. Here are a few ideas: Shop for Gifts to Donate: Bring your kids along to choose toys, clothes, or other items for families in need. Let them pick out items they think other kids would love—it helps them feel connected to the giving process. Host a Drive in Your Neighborhood: Set up a small donation drive for items like coats, canned goods, or toys. Kids can help spread the word to neighbors, decorate collection boxes, or organize items. Volunteer Together: Many local organizations welcome families to volunteer. Whether it’s helping at a food bank or wrapping gifts for a charity, kids get a firsthand look at kindness in action. Involving kids in giving back helps them develop empathy, learn gratitude, and see how even small actions make a big difference. Let’s inspire the next generation of givers this holiday season! Family Giving By Design is here to help your family create a legacy of generosity.

Today is Giving Tuesday—a day dedicated to generosity, kindness, and making a positive impact in our communities. Giving back doesn’t always mean donating money. There are countless ways we can contribute to the well-being of others and inspire positive change: •Support local causes: Donate gently used items to shelters or extra supplies to schools. •Volunteer your time: Offer your skills or time to a community project or organization. •Show appreciation: Thank teachers, healthcare workers, or community leaders for their efforts. •Help a neighbor: Offer a helping hand, run an errand, or lend a listening ear. Every act of kindness, no matter how small, contributes to building a stronger, more compassionate community. How are you giving back today?

🎄The Season of Giving: Empowering Lives Through Thoughtful Donations 🎁 As the festive season approaches, we are reminded of the power of generosity and how even small acts of kindness can transform lives. For many, this time of year is a chance to give back to great causes and to reflect on what truly matters. In my work supporting people with hoarding disorder, I’ve learned something beautiful: their attachment to their belongings often stems from a deep sense of value and a desire to see those items appreciated. The idea of their possessions going to someone who genuinely needs and will cherish them can be a powerful motivator for change. This season, as we often declutter to make room for new memories or gifts, take a moment to consider the impact of your donations. Local charities, shelters, and community groups are always in need of: 🧣Warm clothing for winter. 🛋️Household items to help someone set up a home. 📚Toys and books to bring joy to children. When we donate thoughtfully, we’re not just clearing space in our own life—we’re honoring the stories and potential of the items we give away. Together we are providing hope and possibility to someone who needs it. Let’s make this season one of compassion and connection. Where are your favorite places to donate? Let’s share ideas and spread the joy of giving! #SeasonOfGoodwill #DonateWithPurpose #MakingAnImpact #Hoarding #Kindness #Charity
