At Vita we believe that circularity is the key to transforming our business. Using investment, the scientific principles of our Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) Model and the expertise of our employees and stakeholders, we are embracing and expanding the possibilities of operating in a circular economy. In 2023, we maintained our focus on embedding sustainability into every new product development. Our next generation products will always address specific environmental challenges. Our 3-year focus is to continue to invest in advanced recycling technologies, optimise our production processes for minimal waste, and design products that can be easily reused or recycled. If you want to find out more on how we are driving circularity, visit pages 16-24 of our 2023 Sustainability Report: https://lnkd.in/djR2nENw #Sustainability #LCA

Growth Drivers.. Of… Circularity… Did you expect that consumer demand for sustainable products is a major driver of circularity? McKinsey identified some other factors are important too, such as regulation, technology, infrastructure, supply-side actions, and the economy. Here’s my quick breakdown: 🔍 Governments are pushing for circularity. The EU’s Green Deal and Circular Economy Action Plan pledge billions for net-zero projects until 2032. Many European countries also offer financial incentives for circular business models. 💡 Advances in recycling, biodegradable materials, and durable product design help drive circularity. 🏗️ Better waste management and recycling facilities are essential for converting waste into reusable materials. 🏭 Companies are increasingly using recycled materials and designing products for longer life and reuse. 📈 The economic environment impacts circular efforts. Downturns might slow investments but can also push consumers toward upcycled products. Each of these drivers is crucial for the future of sustainable consumer goods. 🌏♻️ ❓Are you ready to join the circular movement? 🙋♂️ Let’s connect and discuss how we can drive sustainability together! #CircularEconomy #Sustainability #GreenDeal #Innovation #FollowUsBeyond

Nothing beats circularity 🔄! Because the future is circular. At Greiner we have integrated #sustainability into the core of our DNA, because we are committed to becoming a fully #circular business by 2030. This begins with the design of our products and ends with their disposal . By extending product life and minimizing waste, we contribute to a thriving #circulareconomy, conserving resources and preserving the environment 🌍. Utilizing recycled materials, including those from our own recycling plant, brings us closer to a closed loop. To sustain this progress, #collaboration across the entire #valuechain is essential. The Circular Economy, once seen as a utopian idea, has evolved into an undeniable trend, driving major corporate initiatives and significant resource allocation. However, despite the growing momentum, the reality remains challenging: only 7.2% of materials produced in 2023 were from circular sources, down from 9.1% in 2018. Achieving true circularity is a complex and multifaceted challenge, varying across materials and industries. Many companies are starting to adopt a more holistic approach to product development, setting strategies to transition their products from traditional linear models to extended circular value loops through new eco-design guidelines and a product life-cycle approach. Companies can unlock new value pools, reduce supply chain volatility, lower costs, reduce GHG emissions and improve resilience against material shortages. This shift is strongly supported by a new regulatory wave encouraging circularity (e.g., Eco-design for Sustainable Product Regulation, Expanded Extended Producer Responsibility schemes, PPWR, ESRS…) that will fundamentally reshape how products are viewed across the value chain. The concept of circularity is based on the reuse and recycling of goods, materials, and services, with the aim of extending their lifecycle and avoiding waste ♻️ The society we live in relies on linear economy models, which promote disposable use and exploitation of available resources, with negative consequences for the environment and people's health. The take-make-dispose approach is not sustainable in the long run. That's why extending the lifecycle of each product through the circular economy: sharing, repairing, and regenerating have become the words of the future, thanks to technology. That's what we do in Avvale, with our work, we strive every day to harness our knowledge and expertise to help companies enter this context where the combination of circular business + digital innovation leads to sustainable growth. Together we can change. Happy Global Recycling day. Check our website here: https://www.avvale.com/ #Avvale #Avvaleyourself #GlobalRecyclingDay
