After all the presents are opened, don't be tempted to toss wrapping paper, colored paper, and cardboard into your fireplace. These items often contain additives that are dangerous when burned. Keep the kindling to logs only this holiday season! #riskmanagement #safetytips

These containers are used for storing, transporting, or packaging a wide variety of products, such as food, beverages, chemicals, and industrial goods. Metal containers are known for their durability, strength, and ability to protect contents from environmental factors like moisture, light, and air, which helps preserve the quality and shelf life of the products inside. 📌𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐟 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞: ✔ 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐬 (e.g., for beverages, food, and paint) ✔ 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐬 (for chemicals or industrial liquids) ✔ 𝐓𝐢𝐧𝐬 (used for food or small items) ✔ 𝐀𝐞𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐨𝐥 𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐬 (for sprays and other pressurized products) #MetalContainer #SustainablePackaging #MetalPackaging #DurableContainers #IndustrialPackaging #EcoFriendlyPackaging #RecyclableMetal #FoodPackagingSolutions

58 % of all leaking packaging is caused by contamination in the sealing area [1]. How does 0 % sound instead? Don't worry about unnecessary rejects and trust in our safe ultrasonic sealing technology. Our sealing systems cause the materials to vibrate – between 20,000 and 35,000 times per second, depending on the application. These vibrations displace particles or liquids, as well as larger contaminants such as moist, chunky animal food, from the sealing area. This ensures an absolutely tight seal with every sealing process. This significantly reduces your waste and can help to increase the shelf life of the food. Less rejects, more output: Combine added value and sustainability – become valuetainable! #PACKAGING #BondingMoreThanMaterials #ValuetainableWednesday [1] German study: Evaluation and optimization of the sealing behavior in case of seam contamination of food packaging (EVOCOSEAL).

⚡️Can Pulsed Light decontaminate your packaging? As a non-thermal surface treatment that requires no water or chemicals, #pulsedlight preserves the integrity of your packaging, even for the most sensitive types, such as: - Caps with liners: no risk of chemical residues under the liner - Cardboard cups, which are sensitive to humidity - Lightweight plastic cups, which are sensitive to heat - Very thin films, with no risk of shrinkage that could affect the seal… Microbiological test results for packaging are available upon request. If you've developed new packaging and want to assess the suitability of pulsed light for decontaminating your packaging and protecting your product, contact our team! #decontamination #packaging #dairyproducts #beverages

Did you know making toilet paper and paper towels is a lot like following a recipe? Similar to how different types of flour affect the outcome of a baked good, recycled paper and wood pulp have different properties that can alter the final product. https://bit.ly/4cmIwG7

Hey, Drycake, we see YOU! 👀 In case you missed it our partner in food depackaging technology was featured in this article: https://hubs.ly/Q02GQ9RW0 The TWISTER separation process differs from conventional methods; it doesn’t rely on size reduction but utilizes a vortex effect. Similar to a twister or tornado, light materials ascend in a spiral movement during turbulence. The TWISTER is the only de-packager that can handle large plastics and textiles, even small carpets without requiring a pre-shredder. The exclusive filtration screens yield a clean organic mixture without necessitating a second pass. Take a deeper dive here: https://hubs.ly/Q02GQfq70 #foodwaste #depackager #composting #anaerobicdigestion

⚗ 👩🔬What's the Benefits of Choosing Plastic Pallet in Chemical Industry? (especially for the transport of hazardous materials) 🚛 🚚 2/2 3. Hygienic Plastic pallets are easy to clean and sanitize, making them a hygienic solution for the transportation of potentially dangerous materials. They do not harbor bacteria or fungi and are less prone to insect infestation, unlike wood pallets. 4. Durability Plastic pallets are durable and can withstand harsh transportation conditions. They don’t crack, splinter, or break, and they can hold a considerable amount of weight. They also have a longer lifespan than traditional wooden pallets. #plasticpallet #pallet #transportation #warehouse #storage #chemical #logistic #hazard #hazardous

Conveying sticky materials presents a significant challenge for manufacturers and processors. These materials can adhere to equipment, reduce throughput, and cause downtime due to severe build-up. To handle sticky materials effectively, choosing the right equipment is crucial. Proper equipment ensures smooth material flow and prevents clinging. Sticky characteristics, often due to moisture or static charge build-up, can be particularly problematic in industries like food processing, where transfer chutes frequently clog with materials such as trail mixes and soluble tea. Optimize your material handling with the right solutions to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency. #MaterialHandling #StickyMaterials #IndustrialConveying #EquipmentOptimization #ProcessEfficiency #ManufacturingSolutions #FoodProcessing #ChuteDesign #BulkMaterialHandling #MinimizeDowntime

Below is two pallets with all you need to use a solvent-based system vs a water-based system. On the left pallet, for a solvent-based system - not only do you need your primer and topcoat - you also need hardener, thinners & gun wash. What’s also very noticeable is the big red label saying “FLAMMABLE”. These hazardous chemicals require seperate, secure storage which can be expensive and inconvenient. Not to mention the icocyanates in the hardener which can cause asthma with repeated exposure. With a water-based system on the right, as you can see, no additives or harmful chemicals are required. Only your primer and topcoat. These can be stored in normal warehouse conditions. Everyone has their own preferences and needs, and a solvent-based system can have its advantages. However when it comes to the logistics - the photo below speaks for itself! Kortec Ltd #BespokeFurniture #SustainableSolutions
