More Aussies will be able to enjoy new touring exhibitions through the latest round of the Visions of Australia program. Round 19 of the program will provide $1.2 million for arts and cultural institutions to develop and tour 7 exhibitions. The touring exhibitions will travel to 52 venues, mainly in regional and remote areas of #Australia. #EnrichingCommunities #Revive

You should bring your passport to the museum for free admission. Most national museums are open to the public free of charge, regardless of where you are from. This means that British tourists have the right to experience our culture for free, so Koreans should not be charged to visit the British Museum??????? I have visited many museums around the world, and I understand that museums need funding for improvements. I always donate, even if it's a small amount, and I always purchase items from the museum shop to encourage further investment in unique products. Museums are no longer purely non-profit organizations; they have become not-for-profit entities. I don't criticize the changes to the ICOM’s charter. I believe it needed to be updated to ensure the continued improvement of museums because relying solely on donations is not sustainable. However, charging only tourists because some museums in other countries charge British visitors is flawed logic. This approach is very dangerous and lacks solid evidence. 😖

In venues like the Ateneum Art Museum, in addition to ventilation, it must be possible to ensure air quality that meets the requirements of valuable artworks as well as the energy efficiency of the solution. This cannot be achieved without seamless collaboration and active communication between different parties. ETS NORD supplied the air handling units for the Ateneum during its renovation and took care of their specialized installation. This event brought together thought leaders in public affairs, sparking intense discussions and valuable insights into the efficacy and ethics of business associations in the public sphere. 🔍 Key Insights: - We delved deep into the concept of the 'political footprint' of companies and associations, a timely topic given the current global trends in polarization and legislative challenges. - One significant takeaway was the impact of associations on the democratic legislative process. There’s a fine line between influence and interference, and it was enlightening to examine this in the context of public affairs. - We also tackled the common misperceptions about the influence of trade associations. Often seen as powerful entities, the reality is that many struggle with resource limitations and the challenge of consolidating diverse member interests into a unified voice. 📈 My Contribution: I was fortunate to contribute my insights on how business associations can navigate public affairs with efficacy and ethical integrity. Discussing these topics with peers was enriching and highlighted the crucial role of transparency and the recognition of trade associations as legitimate stakeholders in public discourse. 🤝 Looking Forward: The discussions left me with mixed feelings about the polarization in public affairs—both challenged by the complexities and inspired by the potential for positive change. Such platforms must exist to amplify diverse voices in public affairs, ensuring a balanced and comprehensive understanding.
