Please stop telling Social Media professionals their job isn't hard. You are discrediting the work of a lot of individuals. Social media is more than just posting. It takes strategy, trial and error, being able to adapt constantly to new social media changes, and a special level of creativity. (There is a lot more but, I don't want to be here all day) Social media professionals are passionate about Social Media Management/Marketing, community and being a creative. Don’t be one of those people who discredits someone’s passion or career. The amazing social media campaigns and brands you see daily killing it on socials don’t create themselves. It’s months of work, failures, reworking strategies, moving deadlines around, content creation, collaborating with other departments, community & crisis management, late nights, etc. We are marketing professionals and should be seen as such. Also, if it was so easy everyone would do it.

Waiting weeks for feedback is unnecessary. But it’s SO common for job seekers and recruiters. After spending hours applying, going through calls, interviews and more... we wait for feedback. The problem is - it's not just inconvenient, it can harm your reputation. Honesty is the best policy. Giving timely and transparent feedback shows respect for the candidate's effort and time. It’s about creating a positive candidate experience, which is crucial for employer branding. When companies take ages to respond, it sends a message that they are either disorganised or indifferent. (Both of these are not great impressions) Why not make feedback part of the standard process? Automate responses or set a fixed time frame for replies. Both candidates and employers benefit from open and honest communication. Let's make it happen! we are djr 🔵⚪
