Today is 23 April 2024, it stands the International English Language, on this day, we pay a tribute to the English playwright, poet and actor William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616) whose, plays (Roméo and Juliet ; King Lear) and poems (The Rape of Lucrece ; Venus and Adonis) have significantly impacted the world. Finding reality too difficult to achieve your goals and dreams? God, i just can't do it!! Some steps & inspiration on World Poetry Day to help you move forward Offering the 7 step bullet point and the inspirational poem versions below ------ Bullet point/Actionable steps version 1. Take a break, give yourself space to gather your wits and energy back 2. Reflect on what's working and what is not 3. Adapt as needed. Find the goldilocks zone of discomfort that works for you. 4. Sometimes the discomfort may break "you", it can still help you grow. Be grateful for it and reduce friction in the journey 5. Recommit yourself to your goals and keep the faith alive 6. In this lecture, we explore the origin, meaning, and evolution of Greek drama by looking at the playwrights Aeschylus, Sophocles, and Euripides. The audience's receptive smiles and expressions suggest a notable speech. It's worth watching. It's a powerful example of turning fear into a challenge. By actively confronting and doing it, this speaker has shown us that we can all take the bull by the horns to overcome our fear of public speaking. We don’t all have to go BIG by giving a TEDx talk, but we can make progress by finding small ways to practice public speaking, no matter how uncomfortable it feels.
