With the festivities continuing for New Year this week, our groups will remain online, with in-person meetings resuming from January 6th. Personally (Lucinda here 👋), I find there’s a lot of pressure at New Year to start something new or tackle something you’ve been putting off. To go out or throw a party. To celebrate the year you’ve had—or put a bad year behind you and prepare for a great one. It’s too much pressure for just one day. Yes, it’s a transition in the calendar, but it doesn’t have to be a transition in your life—unless you really want it to be. Change isn’t something we humans are naturally great at, so why force it? I won’t be going out on the town or hosting a big party (unless you count me, Harry, and a few tubs of Pringles as a party!). Sure, I like to reflect on some of the good things that happened over the year, but I’m not making any resolutions. I’m not deciding, “This is the year I’ll go to the gym three times a week” or “I’ll cut out chocolate for good.” Instead, I’m focusing on being content with who I am—which, now that I write it, might be more of a resolution than I originally intended! But hopefully, you get what I mean. I’m not resolving to change; I’m choosing to appreciate who I am and what I have—and that feels like enough. Take this as your reminder that you are amazing just as you are. Take each day, each hour, each minute as it comes. Smile if you feel like it. Cry if the tears want to fall. Every emotion is as valid as you are. And you are always welcome to safely share whatever emotion you need to in our groups. #festivitiescontinue #onlinesupportgroups #mumssupportingmums #newyearsresolutions #youareenoughasyouare

Count down to the Festival of Lights...... Each year, I adorn myself in lively colors, symbolizing my appreciation for life’s blessings, even during challenging times. This Monday, I'm diving into the vibrant energy of this festive season, reminding myself of the importance of gratitude and connection. This week, I'm taking my gratitude practice a step further by reaching out to my offline community and asking how I can support them in the coming year. And I truly cherish such conversations as they bring in kindness, wisdom, and inspiration in return. Here are a few insights to harness the energy of this festive season: 1️⃣ Reflect on your achievements: Recognize your progress to build confidence. 2️⃣ Set intentions: Define clear goals for the coming months and revisit them regularly. 3️⃣ Embrace community: Surround yourself with those who uplift you and share your aspirations. 4️⃣ Prioritize self-care: Amidst celebrations, carve out time for mindfulness and reflection. The best (and worst) time of the year… There's no denying it's the best time of the year for most… But for some, it's not. Some people will spend Christmas going through some kind of struggle they'd rather not be going through. I think it can become an overwhelming time of the year for us to focus on things that don't matter… But focusing on how lucky most of us are is important too. We might struggle… We might want more sometimes… But in the big picture? We are doing pretty okay out here! I've seen both sides of it this holiday season. The joy and the pain. The celebrations and the struggles. Sometimes life doesn't go as planned and that's okay. But what happens when it doesn't? Who are we surrounded by and how do they treat us? In those moments, it's not about the presents or the decorations... It's about the people who show up when we need them most. So this season, while we're caught up in the festivities... Maybe we can take a moment to look around and see who might need a little extra support. A simple conversation. An unexpected act of kindness. Sometimes that's all it takes to change someone's entire holiday. Because while we can't fix everything... We can make sure no one faces their struggles alone. What small gesture could you make today that might mean everything to someone else?

“Repetition is the mother of learning, the father of action, which makes it the architect of accomplishment.” — Zig Ziglar Apparently, it takes hearing something up to 7 times before we act on it. So here goes… You can’t pour from an empty cup. You can’t pour from an empty cup. You can’t pour from an empty cup. You can’t pour from an empty cup. You can’t pour from an empty cup. You can’t pour from an empty cup. You can’t pour from an empty cup. With Christmas celebrations fast approaching, we don’t want you running on empty and missing out on enjoying the festivities. So, what action can you take now to refill before it all begins? 🎅🎄🧑🎄❄️🤶🎄❄️🎅❄️🤶🎄 #changehappenswithaction #SelfCareNotSelfish #WellbeingMatters #WorkplaceWellbeing #PrioritiseYourself #HealthyBoundaries #MentalWellbeing #WorkLifeBalance #ChristmasSelfCare

🌎 What Makes Christmas Special for You? For me, it’s not just the lights, gifts, and festivities. It’s the deeper connection I have with myself that makes this season truly memorable. These past few years of my entrepreneurial journey have taught me one crucial lesson: develop a deeper relationship with yourself. - Learn who you are - Support, love, and cheer who you are - Let the best version of you shine and impact the world This has been a work in progress for me. I’ve faced doubts, fears, and even imposter syndrome the moment I decided to become more impactful and serve others. But cultivating self-love has given me confidence, strength, and passion to continue forward. During this festive holiday season, I invite you to find your spark—love, confidence, faith—within yourself first. As someone once said, “You can only give what you have.” - If you’re hurt, you may unintentionally hurt others. - If you’re lacking confidence, you might project uncertainty. - But if you’re caring and self-assured, that warmth and trust will overflow to those around you. Let’s celebrate Christmas with gratitude, warmth, and a spirit of giving—to ourselves and to others. It’s not about being selfish; it’s about filling up your cup so it can overflow to your family, friends, and business. How do you nurture that deeper relationship with yourself? And what special holiday traditions spark joy for you? Share in the comments—I’d love to learn from your experiences! How to Give Gifts That Truly Matter? It was an evening at home. We opened a bottle of Tapenade, a gift from our summer stay at a resort. The Tapenade locally made was delightful, but the service we received was better. Small gifts were left in our room each night. They brought back memories. The quality of the gift spoke of the company's values. So, I found myself pondering, What truly makes a gift impactful? Festivities are approaching, soon we are all going to think about gifts. Here are some key factors. **How to Give Gifts That Truly Matter** What makes a gift meaningful? 1. **Personalisation:** A gift that fits the receiver—something reflecting their spirit or a shared moment—speaks of care. It shows you know them. 2. **Surprise and Timing:** A gift given when least expected, especially in tough times, can light up a dark moment. It feels good to be remembered. 3. **Emotional Connection:** A gift can be more than an object. It can represent an experience, a token of love, or a milestone. Such gifts carry weight and bring true joy. 4. **Effort and Care:** When a gift shows that it was chosen with thought and effort—something handmade or carefully selected—the receiver feels that care. 5. **Fulfilling a Need or Desire:** A gift that meets an unspoken wish can bring a sense of relief. It shows you understand them deeply. 6. **Shared Experience:** A gift that recalls past moments shared creates a bond. It reminds us of the ties that hold us together. In the end, a gift that embodies thoughtfulness, emotional depth, and personal connection brings not just joy but lasting gratitude. Choose wisely. Choose the gift that keeps on giving. 😍 #Clientexpereinceexpert #hospitality #butlercoach

Desi Atomic Habit Tip #25: Celebrate Togetherness Beyond the Festive Lights "Festivals are moments; togetherness is a mindset." As we wind down from Christmas and step into the final days of the year, let's remember that the festive spirit isn’t meant to fade—it’s meant to inspire how we live every single day. The essence of festivals lies not in the decorations or celebrations, but in the connections we nurture and the gratitude we share. ✅ Create Moments of Joy: Don’t wait for occasions to express appreciation. A heartfelt ‘thank you’ or a simple message can brighten someone’s day. ✅ Keep Traditions Alive: Whether it’s a family ritual or a professional gesture, honor the traditions that bring meaning and warmth to your life. ✅ Give Without Expectation: True giving comes from the heart. Offer your time, kindness, or expertise to someone in need—it’s the ultimate festive habit. How I Apply This Habit: 👉 I take these last days of the year to acknowledge my team, family, and everyone who’s been a part of my journey. Whether it’s a note of thanks or a simple call, it’s my way of saying, “You matter.” 🎯 This Week’s Challenge: Share one act of kindness before the year ends. It could be a donation, mentoring someone, or even sending a note of encouragement. Small actions, big impact. The holiday season may be over, but the spirit of togetherness is something we can carry forward every day. Let’s make connection and gratitude our daily habits in 2024 and beyond. 🌟 #DesiAtomicHabits #ThursdayThoughts #KeepGrowing #YearEndThoughts
