If the weights you’re using haven’t changed in six months, you’re doing something wrong. This challenge from Dave Callari, our Director of Staff Development and Education, sparked a shift in how members approached their fitness this year. Dave’s reminder is clear: exercise isn’t about exhaustion—it’s about growth. As we close out 2024, take a moment to reflect: > Which changes became lasting habits? > What didn’t stick, and how could you approach it differently in 2025? Setbacks aren’t failures; they’re blueprints. Every small victory matters. Celebrate them, learn from challenges, and use those insights to fuel your 2025 goals. Progress is personal and purposeful, and our team is here to support you every step of the way. Let’s keep building strength, resilience, and community—together.

Today’s advice from Grant Cardone: #BeUncomfortable. I’m a big fan of this one because it really resonates with me. Just the other day, I was playing soccer with my daughter, and it turned into quite an intense battle on the field. The next day, I was definitely feeling sore. But, you know what? I actually #EnjoyThatDiscomfort. It’s my body’s way of letting me know, “Hey, you worked hard last night.” My knee was a little sore, my back a bit stiff, and experiencing my workout through this soreness felt like a new challenge. This discomfort provides valuable insight into my body’s limits and capabilities. This experience is a reminder that being uncomfortable is okay. It pushes me to grow and adapt. Whether it’s physical discomfort from a workout or the mental discomfort of stepping out of my comfort zone, it’s an essential part of personal development. Discomfort is a signal that I’m #PushingMyBoundaries and striving for more. It’s a key aspect of success. When I #EmbraceDiscomfort, I open myself up to new opportunities and experiences that I might otherwise avoid. It’s about leaning into those challenging moments and using them as a springboard for growth. Feeling uncomfortable is a sign of progress. Embrace it, learn from it, and use it to drive forward. Thanks for checking this out. Get out there, do great things, inspire folks, and be kind.

🙂THANK YOU for your thoughtful testimonial If you know anything about me you know I’m passionate about my clients’ success and progress through their health and wellness while working with me. My clients - these people - are my Why. I see their progress firsthand every session but it’s even better when THEY see it themselves. This weekend I received this from a client: “I was reluctant to start an exercise program in my late 50s because of an injured, weak shoulder. After seeing some of Luke’s clients’ successes, I decided to sign up. I weighed 230 pounds and I had very little upper body strength. Luke designed a program to strengthen my shoulder and then he gradually helped me gain more strength and build muscle. I saw noticeable changes within 90 days. Now I weigh 215 pounds and my wife says I haven’t had this type of muscle tone since my 20s. Thanks Luke!” He’s lifting 5X the weight he could just barely lift overhead 10 reps for our Session 1 for 30 reps straight today, smoothly. He’s handling those once-difficult day-to-day activities involving the shoulder with ease and, icing on the cake? His wife sees and lets him know every day she sees the positive impact of our training. Total transformation. From age 9 to age 90 I’ve taken military personnel, CEOs, business executives, elementary, middle school and high school students, TCU students and professors, brides and grooms to be, retirees, former college athletes, and clients who have no athletic background to much, much better places in their health and well-being just like this one. Want to be the next client success story? 🤝Talk to me, let’s take you to your desired Point B with the proper care and support to get you there #transformationtuesday #bestclientsever #blessed #strength #fitness #weightloss #health #wellness #workinprogress #dallas #fortworth #texas #personaltrainer #onlinecoach #support #care #teamwork #results #joy #happytuesday #linkedin

You’ll hear the terms “stability” and “balance” thrown around a lot, but they’re often covered in very vague terms – and with hastily thrown together exercise progressions. Today, I cover some things you need to appreciate to be more informed in this regard. https://lnkd.in/eSzUcMu7

💪 Back in the Gym and Stronger than Ever! 💪 A few months ago, I posted about my slipped disc in my neck that left me in severe pain and unable to continue my usual activities. Today, was my first day back in the gym and I’m feeling stronger than ever. This journey has taught me an important lesson that applies to both personal growth and business: Recovery takes time, but with a bit of space and patience, you get perspective that can help you come back even stronger mentally and physically. In business, I think you need to take time out to make sure you’re on the right track, reaching your goals. Give yourself that space. But with the right mindset, support, and dedication, we overcome any challenge and keep moving forward. Whether it’s recovering from an injury or navigating a new venture, the key is to stay focused, trust the process, and celebrate progress. I’m excited to continue this journey, both in the gym and in business, and to keep pushing boundaries. #Resilience #Strength #PersonalGrowth #FitnessJourney

What comes to mind when I say mental gym? Starting at the beginning and then growing and improving over time with consistent work outs.....maybe. I like to think of it as cultivating a mind of positivity and remembering that well being is a skill that we work on and develop. Mental gym = mindset, mood and well being. Join me for a journey starting on Friday 9th or 16th of October to build the basic foundation that you can implement forever once you know how! Ready to make better decisions and learn new skills that will build powerful habits for changing your brain, one moment at a time? This is a complete revamp of the first program. Although the concepts and the operating system stay the same this new approach will help you build habits for a successful start to your day along with a greater sense of ease and flow with a good dose of celebration. I promise you will not be disappointed! For the next 7 weeks you will commit to: Watch the brand new weekly teaching videos ( seven in total) released on Fridays. There are two sections to these Essentials and Explore More Commit to following the app-guided practices which will help you continue to build mental muscles (neural pathways). These exercises are bite-sized to fit your busy schedule. I will also include 2 1:1 coaching sessions and you will have access to the program until the end of December 2024. Sound like this is what you need to wrap up your year? #mindset #mentalgym #coachforcoaches #accountability #sagebrain #mentalfitness https://lnkd.in/dnjGaWig

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻, ‘𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’? It's easy to become fixated on the result, but the real magic and satisfaction happens to us during the process. Each training day, each rep, each healthy choice shapes us - body, mind and spirit. This is the process of self-discovery that physical training offers. It's about pushing through self-doubt and revealing our strengths. Embrace the journey: 📌Shift your focus: Instead of obsessing over the end goal, pay attention to the daily actions that move you forward. Savor the feeling of your muscles working, the endorphin rush, the growing sense of accomplishment. 📌Set intentions: Connect your fitness journey to your deeper values. Are you seeking more energy, greater confidence, a stronger sense of self? Let these intentions guide you. 📌Practice self-compassion: Be kind to yourself. There will days you don't want to. Treat yourself with understanding and encouragement. Enjoy your process! Coach Lorna DM for ways to work with me☝️ #fitover50 #personalcoach #healthyaging #progressnotperfection
