Come work with me at Listen4Good!😀 We're hiring for two roles, and one is on my team. Know anyone who fits the following?: 1) Experience bringing in business and hitting revenue goals, in a mission-driven setting. As a mission-driven nonprofit, L4G is only fulfilling our vision when we’re working in alignment with funders and nonprofits to enhance their impact. 2) Many of your interactions will be with institutional philanthropy, exploring whether and how L4G aligns with their strategy. As such, it’ll be helpful if you have experience working with US based institutional philanthropy and an understanding of what funders think about day to day.

We just launched our annual report. You should read it. Sing our praises! Tell us what we got wrong! For those of you who don't know, the 2023 Lookback report presents a holistic view of the state of global giving in 2023 and reflects on the Data Commons’ current and future initiatives, partnerships, research, and analysis. We don't pretend to have all the answers, but we took some steps in "showing our work" on some important dimensions, including how much individuals are supporting the nonprofit ecosystem, and new data on people's willingness to support "others" at a time where worries about social cohesion are high (or feel high). Check it out and let me know what you think: https://lnkd.in/eUzyunK2

Are you a nonprofit at a point where you think you could hire a Director of Development, but you don’t know where to start? Or you know you need a Director of Development, but you can’t offer a competitive enough salary to entice someone with the experience your mission needs? From Scratch’s Nurture & Grow program allows you to bring us in as your fractional Director of Development. We get your individual giving strategy put together, we build your foundation, and then we launch your individual giving program, for a fraction of the cost of a full-time staff fundraiser. We even offer an off-boarding service that helps you find and train your first on-staff Director of Development, so that when you do hire, your first hire is set up to succeed! We have crafted a twelve-month program that builds your individual giving program from the ground up. Whether you don’t have a single individual donor or have a haphazard program that you know can be optimized, we can build you an effective and efficient strategy and implementation program that will make your individual giving program soar—and we keep your mission and community at the heart of everything we do. Our services start at $3,500/month and scale to $10,000/month, depending on the level of implementation support you need. You would be a fit if you: 🚀Keep trying to get an individual giving program off the ground, but can’t seem to get any traction. ✍️Know that your mission resonates with the community, but you’re not sure how to start asking. 💸Need the unrestricted resources that individual giving programs can create, but you only have experience with grant funding.

Do you currently work at a nonprofit? Or have you recently left? Consider completing the Social Impact Staff Retention survey so we can start to understand the state of the nonprofit sector better. What motivates employees to job skip? What encourages employees to stay?
We get it. Some days it's a joy and other days it's a job. Working in nonprofits can be equally rewarding and exhausting. The 2025 Social Impact Staff Retention by Nonprofiteers survey is collecting input until October 31, 2024. Respondents are asked whether they are seeking new jobs (or will be over the next year), whether they are not, and why. Thanks to the Center for Nonprofit Excellence - Virginia for sharing this opportunity to provide your perspective. https://lnkd.in/ebzwb9uS
