There were 130 people in attendance representing 10 companies from the US and Canada. The three-day conference included sales, operations, and leadership tracks encouraging companies to share industry knowledge, identify best practices, and motivate individuals to "Elevate Your Edge." Weekly Tip - Leadership: The supreme quality for leadership is unquestionably integrity. Without integrity, no real success is possible, no matter whether it is on a section gang, a football field, in an army or in an office. Dwight D Eisenhower #leadership

Its always humbling to be given the mantle of leadership. As much as you learn about those in your charge, you learn more about yourself during that period as a leader. I was asked to be the President of our club the first time around; I was new and raw to the role. The second time, I volunteered to be the President when there was no one to take it up. Each opportunity had its own set of challenges, triumphs and tribulations. If I could share 3 lessons I learnt it would be: 1. Be humble. Leadership is not just a title; it’s an office of trust. Your team puts their trust in you to do the right thing and to be there for them. 2. Be grounded. Be rooted in the values of character. The deeper your roots, the easier it is to withstand the pressures and to stand firm in your truth. 3. Make a difference. Envision something better than what it is now. Lead people to be better today than they were yesterday. Three words that my former Boss and mentor P Sridharan taught me; whatever you do, do it with Dedication, Determination and Devotion. #leadwellleadright #saysomething

What have you learnt about yourself since starting your business? This was a question left by Jason Murray, Co-Founder at Fringe in our Leadership Lounge series. In a recent interview, Joe Bignell asked this very question to Brooke M. Founder RAD Security. Check out the video to hear what Brooke has learnt about herself since starting RAD Security. Since starting Animo Group, I've learnt the importance of having a plan and vision, but the key part to this is regularly checking in against these, making sure you and your team are aligned with this at all times. #PersonalGrowth #BusinessMindset #haveaplan
