"After sending a friend to check it out for us, we were mesmerised. He called us from his car and said, ‘You need to live here, I’ve never seen a place like this.' He showed us the development on the video call and that sealed the deal." 🏡 Pilots Jai & Norbi made the move to Woodgate earlier this year as it ticked all their boxes for their busy careers and desire for a spacious new home. Jai & Norbi, stated that another plus point that drew them to Woodgate is the peace and quiet. "Because we work with planes every day, the last thing we want is to live under a flight path," Norbi explains. "At Woodgate, it’s rare to hear aircraft noise. We’ve sat on our balcony with a glass of wine in the evening, listening to the birds. It’s a peaceful spot.” 🌲🐦 On the hunt for your next home? 7am on a Saturday should be illegal but customer wants and we deliver. 11am Friday morning: customer needs big #hire order for Monday over in Ireland. Engineers all accross UK fully booked out all Friday. All of Monday. Availability on fleet very low due to insane demand. (Has silly season even ended????) Me having a ponder for a second. No problem me and my #dreamteam will make a miracle happen… Turns out job actually starts first thing Monday and hire needed for Sunday so the customer can hit the ground running… Insert Empire Asbestos #teamworkmakesthedreamwork ethos and boom. We will have it ready. Massive shout out to Jeff Nash, Rachel and James Farrow who are alll doing their bit this fine Saturday to make this happen! And also to the rest of the team for their willingness to spirit and keenness to help! 🙌🏽👊🏽🤙🏼 At empire we ALWAYS go that extra mile for our customers. Customer is king and it really is that simple. As for me time to don my PPE and get cracking. Have a great weekend guys! #teamops #operationsmanager #customerservice #customersatisfaction

"I want the big jobs 200kW+" Is what I hear everyone say to me when they enquire to become a new client What they don't realise ⤵ ▶ Bigger companies have a ridiculous amount of loops to jump through ▶ Bigger companies usually get 5 tenders on the low end ▶ Bigger companies go green for more reasons than just saving money We've done multiple 1MWP+ Commercial Installs and Booked meetings with: NHS, Tesco, DS Smith, Morrisons, Rolls Royce, Lotus Supercars, SunSeeker Yachts, Menzies Distribution, Trust me when I say ⤵ ▶ They are a headache and literally take years in some cases ◀ You are better off ⤵ ▶ Targeting the 70-130kW range ↘ Conversion and install usually less than 4 months ↘ A lot less hoops to jump through ↘ Much better for cashflow You have enough cashflow from Residential?... then fair enough, knock yourself out. In my opinion: Quick cash-flow from smaller commercial jobs is where its at 😎 Whats your thoughts on this?

Day 17 of 75 Wisdom Series by Wizaltia Before joining the Zig Ziglar Corporation, the son-in-law of the speaker held the position of superintendent at one of the nation's largest home builders. Throughout his five-year tenure, he exhibited exceptional punctuality, never arriving late for work. He approached his job with enthusiasm, consistently delivering more than what was expected for a full day's pay. Such dedication and positive attitude contributed significantly to his job security. While acknowledging that some circumstances are beyond one's control, it's worth considering the scenario: if his employer had faced sudden closure, what kind of recommendation would he have received? The speaker encourages individuals to cultivate these same qualities, emphasizing that they contribute to employment security. #WizaltiaHrSolutions #Robotics #Wizaltia #Jobs #JobSecurity #WorkEthic #DedicationPaysOff #PositiveAttitude #EmploymentSuccess #Placement #JobVacancies #JobPlacments #VendorEmpanelment #Consultancy

Reasons why I like working for Lloyd Motor Group - It's the small things that can make a big difference ✨ During my time here I've come to appreciate the small things that make Lloyd Motor Group so special. From day one, I noticed a culture that truly values working relationships and respect. No matter which site I visit, everyone greets each other with a friendly “hello.” It may sound simple, but that little gesture sets a positive tone. Whenever I visit a different site, I'm always offered a drink, and it’s those thoughtful gestures that make you feel like you’re part of a bigger family. There's a sense of inclusion here that’s rare to find, where you know you're valued just as much as the next person. Another huge positive for me has been the culture of openness. I've never felt hesitant to ask questions, I work in a place where you’re encouraged to learn and grow, there’s never a fear of asking something “silly.” The “small things” here aren’t small at all, they are actually the big reason why I love coming into work everyday. Want to have that feeling too ? Take a look at our vacancies here: https://lnkd.in/et5Eekf8 #WorkCulture #Gratitude #Teamwork #LloydMotorGroup #Recruitment #Career

Take a look at the Ambassador Bridge: the most important border crossing you've probably never heard of.* The Gordie Howe Bridge will join this bridge in a few months, giving Detroit three border crossings, and two for trucks. First of all, you'll have to forgive the Bart Simpson hair... a little fall weather in Big Ten country and the hair and make-up team wasn't around today. We did a few videos a few months back on the Gordie Howe Bridge, but this the bridge that everyone needs to use now. This bridge is the key transportation link for the automotive industry: with car parts going back and forth from Michigan and Ontario, and it's the only border crossing in Detroit that can accommodate trucks. You might wonder why this bridge is being replaced or added to...even though it's 100 years old it clearly still works. For me, the answer is pretty simple. Two bridges are better than one. If the last four years have taught us anything it's that the unthinkable black swan event can indeed happen, and shoring up supply chains is never a bad idea. #brokerpals and #crefam: Conrad Matt Scott Mark Tripp Barrett Eric Mark George Wayne Gregg Jackson Barrett Nick Randy Simons Peter Chris Adam Adam Tim Allan Marc Gabe Casey: if you're ever in town, bring your passport. The Gordie Howe Bridge will be up and running in about a year. In the meantime, we can head to Windsor and check out Little Italy. #canadapals: Jarrod ALLEN Lori Nick: with a new bridge going up, we should hang out more! #savills #detroit #ccim #sior *Yes, if you're from Michigan, of course you've heard of the Ambassador Bridge.

🚍 Chief Manufacturing Officer Paul S. Lavoie and the team at CBIA set out on this bus tour of Connecticut to show the immense value (and cool factor) of manufacturing everything from submarines and jet engines to PEZ candy right here in the Nutmeg State. It’s essential that residents, businesses, and policymakers understand what manufacturing offers Connecticut. Not only does it drive 13% of CT's GDP, but it also provides good-paying, rewarding careers—careers that help keep innovation and craftsmanship thriving. That's a strong mark of who we are and will continue to be as a state. As we look to the future, it’s equally important to inspire a new generation of workers to explore these exciting opportunities. Manufacturing is evolving with cutting-edge technology and offering career paths. Together, we can ensure Connecticut remains a leader in making some of the world’s most important and iconic products. #MakeItHere #Connnecticut #Manufacturing #Candy #Aersopace #Submarine #Business #Jobs #WorkforceDevelopment | Connecticut Office of Manufacturing
