When I first thought about starting my career in software testing, I was TERRIFIED. 😬 (I’m sure you’ve been there too, right?) At first, I worried about how to learn. Then, I obsessed over getting it right. My biggest fear? “What if I don’t make it?” But here's the shift: 💎 Now, I don’t stress over the small stuff. 💎 I focus on growing, connecting, and building. 💎 I look for opportunities and real conversations in the testing community. And that changed EVERYTHING. ✨ I’m now confident that everything I do in this field will get me where I need to go. And I know this is just the beginning. ✨ Don’t stay stuck at the surface. ✨ Dive deep. ✨ Start today, and watch your career take off. (Repost this motivation for someone who needs it! ♻️) P.S. Did you ever feel impostor syndrome in testing? I used to. But not anymore. Do you? #testing #journey #linkedIn

DO NOT SELF-REJECT It’s easy to feel like you are not qualified enough looking at the never ending “must have" skills in Job Descriptions. But here is the truth: you dont need to meet every single requirement to apply. Good companies care more about your ability to learn and grow than about checking off every tool or framework listed in the description. If you’ve worked with similar technologies or skills, highlight that. You’ve got the skills. let them see what you can bring to the table. You never know. So DO NOT SELF REJECT. Apply anyway. Good luck! You ahve got this.

DEV WITH YEARS OF EXPERIENCE only landing in 3 search appearances a week?!? Just finished a 1:1 call where we reviewed their LinkedIn profile. I asked them before even seeing the profile "Do you feel that your profile, in its current state, should recruiters be reaching out to you?" and they replied with a very confident "Yes!" And why not? This person, in particular, has been in tech since 2013! This is not to demonize the person because the truth is, I see this ALL OF THE TIME. The problem is, especially for developers, these aren't things many people think about regularly. Many just look at LinkedIn and resumes as an item on a checklist that just has to be done. The problem is, they often forget who the very first line of hiring is. Often, it is not a technical manager, it is a recruiter, HR, etc. You can't automatically think about interview 2 or 3 and not prioritize efforts for interview 1. Once I landed on the profile, it was immediately obvious as to why they were only landing in 3 search appearances in 90 days! - Using terms for the job position that were the name of the position in the org but not the common term for the position in the industry - Not discussing achievements within role but just the basics you would assume someone does in that position, example "Participated in code reviews" or "Used Jira". - About me is waaaaay too long - LinkedIn is not setting them up for success in the interview - Your information is not setting you up for questions that YOU want to answer vs allowing them to ask you questions you are not knowledgeable about. Think about these things when making your profile and resume. I was also feeling overwhelmed by thinking of so many things I needed to do; I was not getting time after work and all. Then, my mom said to me, "Either fight for yourself to achieve the goal or stop thinking and crying." 🌟 5 Mantras to Crack Coding Interviews 🌟 1️⃣ Code under pressure 🕒 Set a timer, solve problems, and explain the solution to yourself as if you’re teaching someone. 2️⃣ Practice daily 🖥️ Platforms like LeetCode and HackerRank are your best friends—use them every day, even if it’s just one problem. 3️⃣ Mock interviews 🎭 Practice with friends to simulate the stress of real interviews. It’ll make the actual ones feel easier. 4️⃣ Speak your thoughts 💬 Get used to explaining your code out loud. This builds confidence and makes a huge difference during interviews. 5️⃣ Take breaks 🏖️ This journey isn’t a sprint—it’s a marathon. Rest when you need to, so you can come back stronger. 💪 It’s okay to feel overwhelmed at times, but don’t stop. Show up for yourself every single day, and trust the process. On a daily basis, we need to get up and push ourselves to become better, at least 1%. Right💯? One day, you’ll look back and realize it was all worth it. 🌈✨ Let’s keep going. 🚀 Follow for more Shreya Singh💟🙌🏻 #CodingPrep #CodingRound #InterviewPreparation #ITJobs #SDE #SoftwareDeveloper #SoftwareEngineer #ITSkills #Skills #CodingMantra
