We have picked a few none-conventional images (#cameratrap image) that can prove difficult for computer vision algorithms. TalkTu is a new project we are working on that is still very much in its early stages of development. We are just in the process of hosting a phi-3.5 #vision #language model on the TalkTu platform that will allow you to literally talk to your pictures. It is not fully clear what the end application of this project will be but it is really cool. We currently run this model on a single #RTXA6000 which takes about 2 seconds to answer questions about an image - which is pretty cool. We are hoping to make a TalkTu expert available soon which will allow you to upload your own images and get the Phi model to answer questions or generate summaries like the one below. I will put a few more of these out to show you how well it works. Generative AI has seen rapid growth in recent years, but experts are now concerned progress may be slowing. As we saw last time, "Literature Test" is quite easy for advanced models, and Claude Sonnet even got all the questions right. Not so with math. When asked to solve a typical "pools and pipes" problem, reformulated with Bears and Salmon (to confuse the models a bit more), most of them fail miserably, producing very long explanations with absolutely incorrect answers. However, both GPT models and Claude Opus solve it correctly :) This wasn't a proper benchmark, just a quick test to show you how you can quickly and easily compare performance of different models side by side, but we will be releasing a more complex test for "System-2" capabilities, where all of the models shall fail.
