Today marks my first week at BR-DGE, and I’m feeling incredibly optimistic for the future! I came in excited, and all the experiences I’ve had in the past few days reinforced my pride in joining BR-DGE, and I can’t wait to contribute to our journey together! As I dive into this new role, I'm reminded of the importance of the first 90 days in leadership. I’ve always leaned on The First 90 Days by Michael Watkins (https://t.ly/ZjR0S) as my go-to guide for internal transitions. It’s a fantastic resource I recommend to anyone stepping into a leadership role. Here are a few key practices I’m focusing on during these crucial early days: 🔍 Listen, Learn, and Ask Questions - Understanding the culture and goals of the company and my teams is my top priority. - I’m asking a lot of questions and taking copious notes to level up faster in our domain and product. 🧑 Build Key Relationships - Building connections with my team is crucial in these first few months to foster rapport and mutual respect. - I’m trying to meet all the relevant people at the company, including peers and others I won’t interact with as often, rather than just my boss and direct reports. 🎯 Set Clear Priorities - Identifying quick wins alongside long-term goals is essential for me. - Creating and validating plans with relevant stakeholders is crucial to contributing effectively to the company as soon as possible. In some insightful conversations I’ve had in the past, I stumbled upon a fantastic template shared by someone I spoke with. Check out Make the First 90 Days Count (https://t.ly/Dji4X), by Deb Liu; it’s a great starting point for a high-level plan you can update as you learn more about your company and role. I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead and look forward to learning and growing with everyone at BR-DGE! What strategies helped you make your first 90 days count in a new role? I’d love to hear about your experiences, tips, or even challenges you faced. #FirstWeek #Leadership #First90Days #NewRole #CareerGrowth #Br-dge

Hello everyone 👋 Just wanted to share my views and thoughts regarding career acceleration hackathon yesterday. Really want to express my deep gratitude to mentor Rakesh Rana♟️ for the guidance around career clarity and acceleration through the amazing session and also thanks to all leaders for sharing their valuable thoughts and real life experiences 👍 Key takeaways from yesterday's session:- 1. It's all about gaining an absolute clarity about the understanding that what is our vision for long term future, what are the milestones to be reached to fulfil that, what are the goals to be accomplished to reach each milestone. 2. What is the why that drives us and reminds us every time about taking actions for the vision we have seen for ourselves, the milestones we need to reach in order to fulfil vision, the goals we must accomplish to reach the milestones. 3. We may or may not be able to change the environment around us but we can regulate the environment like by being part of a growth community where people possess a growth mindset, forum where people talk about growing industry trends and innovations etc. So that our focus must be on vital aspects rather than focusing on unnecessary distractions. So, what are your thoughts on this? Please share your valuable thoughts through comments 👍 #careeracceleration #growthmindset #leadershipcoaching

A few of the many reasons why P2 Leaderlab is a unique transformative leadership program you want to do!
"Before joining P2Leaderlab, I felt uncertain about my next career steps. My company didn’t seem to offer a clear path forward, and I struggled to see where I fit in. However, my experience in LL helped me realize that the biggest obstacle to my career progression was myself. The tools and support I received there empowered me to create my own role and achieve a promotion within two years. I’m convinced that none of this would have been possible without Leaderlab." In our fast-paced professional world, it’s all too easy to celebrate traditional milestones like promotions and job changes. However, true growth and success take many forms, and we should broaden our recognition beyond titles. Career breaks, embarking on family life, returning to education, or pursuing entirely new endeavors are all essential parts of personal and professional development. Let’s take a moment to celebrate these journeys, as they often lead to the most profound transformations. Growth is not just about climbing the corporate ladder; it’s about evolving as individuals. Recognizing diverse paths to success fosters a more inclusive and supportive professional community. Embrace every step of your journey.
We’re quick to congratulate people on new jobs, promotions, and big titles. But should be just as quick to congratulate: —Career breaks —Starting a family —Going back to school —Trying something brand new Growth isn’t linear and neither is success. Let’s recognize the journey along the way.

#ConfessionFriday When I launched GRIT Search Australia just 10 weeks ago, I had a modest goal: to sign up 3 business clients I’d love to work with for the next 3 years, within the first 3 months. I’m thrilled (and a bit humbled) that we reached that goal much earlier than expected! I never set out to be the biggest or the loudest in the industry. My ambition, like many founders, is simply to offer a genuine alternative to the community we serve and work with. What if we measured success not just by numbers, but by the impact we make? Here are a few things I’m incredibly proud of as we build GRIT Search Australia: - We’re helping our clients save around AUD 50K annually per hire, empowering them to scale faster without compromising on quality. - We recently placed a candidate in her first job in the city of her dreams, a life-changing move she’d been working toward for years. - We’re bringing in candidates from non-traditional backgrounds who add culture and diversity, enriching our clients’ teams in unexpected ways - We consistently deliver shortlists within days and placed hires in roles that our clients have struggled with for months. - We’re forming industry partnerships to expand our services and bring more value to our clients and candidates. - Through it all, we remain focused on being genuine and finding win-win outcomes in every situation. What I regret: - Not starting GRIT Search Australia sooner! - Listening to naysayers that it's a bad time to start a business. - Not documenting this journey from day one. If any of this resonates with you: - Maybe you’re interested in joining our team as we grow in 2025. - Maybe you’re looking for a genuine recruitment partner who’s all about impact. - Maybe you’re a fellow #Founder #FemaleFounder who’d love to connect over a coffee or tea. If so, please reach out, I’m just a message away!
