Caught up with Anna Perez, RA in the West Village for coffee! ☕ We had the pleasure of meeting this summer at GlobeSt.com WOI Conference after my panel on technology in #CRE. As many of you know, I worked in real estate development before leaping into the world of #proptech in 2022 to join Revere CRE - Anna & I shared very similar experiences of implementing software for our construction teams. We commiserated on how long it took to get systems up and running, which brought an incredible amount of stress—balancing stakeholder expectations and helping employees get comfortable with a new system. What stood out most was how support calls often felt more like sales pitches, with constant upselling to higher tiers, instead of focusing on solving the actual issues at hand. At Revere, we do things differently, always keeping our brokers’ best interests front and center. When working with teams, our focus is on removing pain points, not adding to them. We offer 24/7 support, and our clients have access to our cell phones—not a chatbot—so we can solve problems in real-time. Can you imagine asking your client to contact a chatbot while they're working on a deal...? Neither can we. Here are three tips for easier software implementation based on our approach: 1. Start with a Clear Roadmap: Define your goals, timeline, and key milestones upfront. Knowing what success looks like makes it easier to navigate challenges. 2. Get Hands-On Support: Partner with a team that offers personalized, real-time assistance. This minimizes frustration and accelerates troubleshooting. 3.
