I recently had the opportunity to sit down with Phalen Tynes-MacDonald at The Wire Report to share TELUS’ perspective on the federal cabinet order directing the CRTC to revisit its decision on wholesale internet access – a decision that should enable new entrants to bring more choice and affordability to Eastern Canada, where TELUS is a new entrant. At TELUS, we believe that competition drives affordability, innovation and greater choice for consumers. Restricting it under the guise of protectionism ultimately limits opportunities for Canadians. That’s why we’re challenging this decision – to uphold fairness, transparency and a more competitive landscape that benefits everyone. 🚨 How I Was Scammed by Koodo – And Why You Should Be Careful 🚨 ( i have picture proofs ) hashtag hashtag #telus TELUS I’m not the kind of person to air grievances publicly, but what happened to me with [Teleco m Company] is unacceptable—and people need to know. I signed up for a $35/month plan after being reassured multiple times by their representative that there were no hidden fees. Yet, in just two months, they have charged me $366! and 360 next.. hurrrray.... That’s more than 5x what was promised. Here’s the kicker: when I reached out to their customer service to resolve the issue, I was given the runaround, transferred between agents, and told there was nothing they could do. No explanation, no apology, no accountability. 🔎 Why This Matters: Trust is the cornerstone of any company-consumer relationship. Hidden fees and deceptive pricing aren’t just unethical—they’re borderline fraudulent. If this can happen to me, it can happen to anyone.

TELUS May have a large portion of the market out west - but out east TELUS is a new entrant for home services, which even though they may hold a large market out West, doesn’t mean they do out East. It’s a new entrant - which means it’s now 3 major players instead of 3, which always drives better prices (Views are my own)
