🌟 Celebrating 2 Years at Collabera Inc.! 🌟 Looking back on my journey as a Talent Specialist at Collabera Inc., I’m proud of how far I’ve come. The first 4 months were tough. Despite my best efforts, I struggled to make a significant impact and didn’t score high in my performance reviews. It was a challenging time, filled with learning curves and self-doubt. I had to quickly adapt to the fast-paced environment, understand the complex needs of our clients, and build my network from scratch. However, I stayed determined and committed to improving. I sought guidance from my mentors, absorbed as much knowledge as possible, and refined my strategies. Gradually, my hard work began to pay off. Here are some highlights from my journey: 1. **2 Rising Stars Awards for 4 IT Hires in the First 6 Months**: In my first 6 months, I successfully placed 4 IT professionals. This was a great start and boosted my confidence. 2. **$5k Weekly Spread in 7 Months**: By my seventh month, I achieved a $5k weekly spread. This milestone showed my growth in effectively matching talent with opportunities. 3. **2 Glittering Gold Awards (Performer of the Month)**: I received the Glittering Gold Award twice for being the top performer. This recognition was incredibly rewarding and motivating. 4. **5 Shining Silver Awards (Runner-Up)**: I earned the Shining Silver Award five times. Consistency and hard work really paid off, and these awards kept me striving for excellence. 5. **Annual Award for “Upcoming Talent of Collabra” for 2023**: Winning the “Upcoming Talent of Collabera” award for 2023 was a highlight. It’s great to be recognized for my potential and contributions. 6. **$10K Record Milestone in Canada Process**: I reached a $10k weekly spread in the Canada process business. This was a significant achievement and demonstrated my capability in high-stakes recruitment. 7. **Hiring Senior Level IT Professionals**: Over these two years, I’ve helped hire senior-level IT professionals like Project Managers, Product Managers, Cybersecurity Consultants, and Regulatory Leads. These placements have made a big impact for our clients and have been a testament to my growth and expertise in the field. These achievements were possible thanks to the amazing support and mentorship from my team and leaders at #Collabera .Their guidance and encouragement helped me transform my initial struggles into successes. It is July 1st, 2024 and I am so excited to announce I have officially hit my 3rd full year contest here at TEKsystems. I want to thank all of my consultants and candidates who have supported me the last 3 years. I couldn’t do what I do without you all. The support, loyalty, and the referrals you all have given to me do not go unnoticed. I genuinely love seeing you all succeed. It is my favorite part of my job! I will always keep doing the portfolio reviews, interview prep, etc because as we have found it works!! Practice makes perfect along with a lot of great pump up music playlists for interviews obviously! A big thank you to all the account managers I have worked with since I started at TEK. I appreciate you all tons and the trust you have given me with the clients you support. I think the biggest lesson I have learned the last 3 years is you can’t stop learning, iterating, and self reflecting. Three days into this unexpected journey of being laid off from Microsoft, and I'm genuinely feeling optimistic. Embracing transparency, I shared my recent job loss here and other platforms, and the response has been incredibly uplifting. The outpouring of support, connections, and valuable resources has reminded me of the power of networking in times of transition. If there's one lesson I've learned, it's the importance of reaching out. Don't hesitate to connect with recruiters or professionals in your field of interest. Networking opens doors you may not have even known existed. In my pursuit of new opportunities, I've set my sights on roles within consulting agencies offering managed services.
