Excited to share a passion project that's been six months in the making: Jester: Stand-Up Comedy, now available on the App Store! 📱 Ever since I got my first iPhone over a decade ago, I thought it would be really cool to create my own app for the App Store. Throughout college, I lacked a Mac computer, which is essential for Apple development. So, after graduating and finally getting a MacBook, the idea resurfaced. As an avid fan of stand-up comedy, I often searched for a platform that made it easier to find local stand-up shows and comedy specials. But, there was no unified platform to track comedians, discover new specials across all platforms, or find the latest podcast features for any given comedian. Realizing this gap in the market, I saw the perfect opportunity to create something I’m genuinely passionate about. When I first started the process of building what has turned into Jester, I never imagined it would become what it is today. It began with a simple curiosity to just learn Figma software, but subsequently evolved into a desire to grasp the basics of Xcode and programming. Now, after hundreds of hours of development in my free time, it’s transformed into a full-fledged mobile app packed with valuable features available to the public! With Jester, you can discover over 350 comedians, each showcasing their catalog of comedy specials, latest podcast features, and upcoming performances. The Jester catalog boasts over 1,000 comedy specials, each linking directly to where you can watch them. Track your favorite comedy podcasts or discover new ones, and search for comedy clubs or upcoming live shows by location, anywhere in the world. Jester is your one-stop app for everything stand-up comedy, with more features and additional comedians & specials being added every day! Creating Jester has been an incredible journey, combining my passions for comedy and technology. If you're into stand-up or just curious to see what I’ve been working on, I’d love for you to check it out and support the app! Download Jester: Stand-Up Comedy on the App Store and get ready to laugh! https://lnkd.in/geQTrvf2 #Jester #StandUpComedy #Comedy #AppDevelopment #PassionProject

Open RAN's Comedy Hour: Network Laughs Live! 😄 Why did the 5G Open RAN crash the comedy club? Because it knew how to break down barriers and deliver punchlines with low latency! One day, Open RAN ran into a traditional network at the bar. The old network said, "I’ve been around for decades!" Open RAN replied, "Well, I’m the new kid on the block, and I’m already stealing the show!" On stage, Open RAN joked, "Why did the signal go to school? To improve its reception!" The audience burst out laughing when Open RAN added, "I told the Wi-Fi, 'You think you’re fast, but I’m 5G - I make connections in a blink!'" Continuing the fun, Open RAN quipped, "Old networks are like dial-up jokes – slow and outdated. I’m here with fiber-optic wit, delivering laughs at gigabit speed!" The crowd roared when it said, "I’m so open, even my antennas are on friendly terms with everyone!" Open RAN wrapped up with, "Why stick with clunky old networks? Join the Open RAN revolution and let’s make connectivity and comedy seamless! Because in my network, the only thing we drop are punchlines, not calls!" #OpenRAN #5G #NetworkHumor #TechComedy #LowLatencyLaughs #ConnectivityRevolution #TelecomFun #TechJokes #NetworkInnovation #LaughsInTheCloud #NextGenNetworking

It's a bit silly, but whenever I hear someone being called an expert or calling for experts, my mind immediately shifts to this short video sketch. My colleagues have seen it numerous times as I pull it from the depths of the Internet when the situation requires it or a new colleague shows up. Today is that day, but I'll share it with you all as well because, in my experience, not many people know it, and it is such a treasure trove that we all - people in the corporate world - can relate to. Apologies to all who expected a post with a more relevant topic - e.g., PSR APP scam reimbursement scheme or similar :) #BeingExpert #CorporateLife #ClearProjectObjectives #LetsTalkFraud

Comedy in your content is like chocolate-coating on a bad pill. I took a Stand-up Comedy course last year, and learned a ton. If you speak, market, or sell, just do it. You don't have to become a comedian, but people will be more willing to tolerate a dose of you. (This is me and the great comedian Joe King, shot by the founder of FunnyFest... check out funnyfest.com to learn about courses.)
