Recently, I had dinner with a customer from a major retail organization who shared a common challenge: How do you drive accountability across dozens of divisions when managing hundreds of thousands of assets - spanning endpoints, cloud infrastructure, and application environments? The complexity isn't just in the scale. It's about bringing together independent teams - IT, DevOps, Others - each with their own tools, workflows, and methodologies. Traditional approaches create silos. True success requires a unified platform where every team can track progress, measure outcomes, speak the same risk language, and own their part of the vulnerability management process. This is where partnership becomes crucial. At Nucleus Security, by working closely with our technology partners, we're able to extract rich metadata from each scanning technology and make it actionable through dynamic automation rules and robust reporting capabilities - scaling to meet the needs of even the most complex enterprise environments. #SecurityAutomation #EnterpriseIT #DevSecOps #SecurityLeadership

Red Hat CFO Bobby Leibrock highlights the company’s impressive growth five years after the IBM acquisition, as reflected in this week’s earnings. With strong double-digit revenue gains and rising demand for OpenShift and Ansible, Red Hat is well-positioned to seize new opportunities in areas like AI and virtualization, continuing its momentum in hybrid cloud and automation. Here are the key takeaways from Red Hat’s strong performance and future outlook: * RHEL's double-digit growth highlights that operating system still plays a key role, especially as the foundation for the open hybrid cloud. * OpenShift and Ansible's 20% YoY growth reinforces their status as the de-facto standards for application modernization and enterprise automation. * Red Hat is well-positioned to expand value for customers and partners, particularly in strategic areas like virtualization and AI. * The IBM-Red Hat partnership has proven successful, overcoming early skepticism, with Red Hat revenue doubling since the acquisition. * Red Hat continues to invest in cutting-edge technology like AI and advanced automation, to further enhance customers competitiveness and operational efficiency.

Cloud adoption allowed businesses to covert some of their CapEx to OpEx, it was a big selling point. There was more focus on agility of adoption in the initial cycles, prioritizing application and business owner requirements. In the coming cycles, companies will double down on reducing OpEx. The current market conditions only serve to add importance for lean spend. What does this mean? More assessments, more focus towards optimization-on architecture, operations, security, automation, everything. #devops, #platform engineers are likely to wrestle back control and have larger roles. Organizations that specialize #cloudops and #finops services will have market advantage in the cloud space. We already see this happening.
