I'm fascinated by learning about VCs and startup ecosystems in all regions. In this Tatler Asia article I learned about some of the top VCs in Asia, which I was not aware of. Chibo Tang, Gobi Partners with 380 investments among which 10 are unicorns. Patrick Grove, Catcha Group focused on investments in Southeast Asia and Australia from digital to fintech. Franco Varona, Foxmont Capital Partners with 30+ investments focused on the Philippines ecosystem. Khailee Ng, 500 Global with 270+ investments of the global fund in Southeast Asia. Minette Navarrete, Kickstart Ventures with 3 funds to date and $180m in its fund to invest in startups. The fund also invests in climate with companies like TreeDots and Clarity AI. Anurag Srivastava, Jungle Ventures with over US$1 billion in total assets under management and a US$12.5 billion combined portfolio value. Matt Cheng, Cherubic Ventures with over 200 startup investments. In 2022, he completed its Fund V at US$110 million, with a total commitment of over US$400 million to invest. Rachel Lau and Hamzah Raja, RHL Ventures which is a multi-family private investment firm that champions SMEs, and it includes the Hibiscus Fund to support Malaysia's economy growth. #venturecapital #APAC #Asia #startups #investors #entrepreneurship https://lnkd.in/eRCRyTpG
