[M365 Message Center Update] Lobby experience for external presenters in town hall and webinar #Microsoft has announced an update for #MicrosoftTeams Town Hall and Webinar meetings. Soon it will be possible to activate a virtual lobby as it is known from a normal Microsoft Teams meeting. When the virtual lobby is activated for Town Hall or Webinars, external, unauthenticated guests must wait in the lobby until one of the organizers approve them to the meeting. Microsoft recommends to enable the lobby, if you intend to invite external presenters. An external presenter that is authenticated successfully will be brought into the event directly without waiting in the lobby, of course. This new feature will be rolled out in early July 2024 and Microsoft expects to complete the rollout by mid-July 2024. #MC807463 #M365MessageCenterUpdate
