Opinion: Would it be breaking the “customer obsession” leadership principle to create an international cinematic competition where fans are so passionate about their countries' stories, that there is a risk they may riot if their country loses? Introducing the “Oldest living dog” platform where each country has an immortal “oldest living dog” that narrates stories that took place in their country. Think “oldest living dog - Brazil” or “oldest living dog - Canada” .. the secret sauce is that in order to be competitive internationally, some concessions will need to be tolerated by the home country (eg maybe one character will have an inaccurate southern accent and the other one will have a northern accent because it appeals to subtitle readers who don’t know the difference) and ideally, these cute dogs will beome the modern day “Mickey Mouses” of their respective countries.. creating enormous branding opportunities that will outlive all of us!!
