In case anyone wants to know, I thought I’d share some sure fire ways to guarantee you won’t get hired for that job you want! Step 1: send out a single email to multiple companies with all of their email addresses in the “to” line so they can see you’re blanket applying to multiple companies at once Step 2: address it generically to “hiring manger” instead of any specific person actually at the company That’s it! If you follow these steps ever time, I promise you’re just one step further from you dream job!

Here's what you can expect if you're considering joining a start-up, especially within recruitment industry 👇 👉 First and foremost, prepare yourself for long hours. You'll wear multiple hats and spend significant amounts of time with your team members, familiarity will become the norm, and you need to be comfortable with that. 👉 You're expected to be innovative, actively contribute, and deeply passionate about the company's goals and vision. 👉 Typically, you'll work extended hours, which might spill into evenings and weekends to stay on top of your tasks. 👉 You should be someone who can adapt quickly, efficiently & tackle tasks as they arise. 👉 You must be willing to make suggestions regarding products, software, systems, and processes. It's important that you should be comfortable voicing disagreements or concerns when something doesn't seem right. 👉 You will be proactive with your ideas; take ownership of them and ensure both you and your team are held accountable.

Make sure you include that on your application because it may be more relevant than you might think. Employers want to know where and how you developed your skills (we love anything involving service or sales!) 👩🏻💻 2. Your interests and hobbies are important: Telling an employer about any team or society you have been a part of or showing that you have worked with a charity or done an extra-curricular activity shows them who you are. Talking about this can help to demonstrate your leadership skills too! ⚽️ 3. Tailor your application: An employer wants to see that you have researched their company and to be able to identify why your experience and skills are relevant for the job you are applying for. It also helps to show that you are passionate about getting the role you have applied for! 🔎 4. Check, check, check: Make sure that you proofread your application. You don't want to end up sending an application with spelling and grammar mistakes! Perhaps ask someone to read it for you as well! 📖 5.
