Syreon Research Institute’s Post

Did you know that XR technology traces its roots to an invention nearly 200 years ago? Today, this revolutionary field has reached new heights, finding applications across multiple sectors, including healthcare. 🩺 Europe’s XR ecosystem is steadily evolving, with Germany 🇩🇪, the United Kingdom 🇬🇧, and France  🇫🇷 leading in both the number of XR companies and the revenue generated by XR activities. However, due to market entry barriers and regulatory challenges, these innovative solutions remain difficult to access for doctors and patients across the European Union. With the VR Health Champions project, we are on a mission to change that by providing targeted support to our five flagship SMEs, while also expanding the European healthcare XR ecosystem through knowledge transfer and funding opportunities.   What do you think about the potential of XR in healthcare?
