I want to thank all the veterans for your service to this great country called the USA. I share this story because it is always memorable to me and touches my heart. I was with my son Kane, and we were staying at a hotel in Lancaster, PA. I didn't know at the time there was a convention honoring World War II vets. Kane knows I always thank any veteran I see for their service. We were riding the elevator when a WWII vet stepped in. I thanked him for his service and told Kane to thank him because if it wasn't for brave soldiers like him, he would be speaking Japanese. The man quickly said, "Not on my watch," and tears came down my eyes.
