Addressing Unfair Treatment of BYJU’S Employees in the Job Market
Dear LinkedIn Community,Hiring Managers and HR Professionals,
On behalf of former and existing BYJU'S employees, we want to shed light on a common issue we are facing in the job market today. We believe it's unfair and unjust, and it's time to address it openly.
1. **Unjust Rejections**: Many of us have experienced the frustration of having our job applications or CVs rejected solely because of our association with BYJU'S. Despite our qualifications and experiences, we are being judged based on our former or current employer.
2. **Lack of Fair Assessment**: It's disheartening to see that some hiring processes don't even give us a chance to showcase our skills and capabilities through interviews or communication. How can you judge someone's potential without even talking to them?
3. **Blame Game**: Are we, the employees, solely responsible for any perceived downfall of BYJU'S? It's unfair to paint us all with the same brush, especially when many of us have dedicated our time and efforts to contribute positively to the company.
4. **Double Standards**: It's troubling to observe that while BYJU'S employees face challenges in finding new opportunities, individuals from the top management or decision-making positions seem to have no trouble securing jobs elsewhere. This double standard is glaring and unacceptable.
5. **Exploitative Offers**: Some companies are taking advantage of this situation by offering BYJU’S employees significantly lower salaries, sometimes even half or less than half of their current package, despite having sufficient budget.
We, as BYJU'S employees, have given our best, remained responsible, and dedicated ourselves to our work. Being rejected simply because of our association with BYJU'S is neither correct nor logical.
We urge all companies to reconsider their approach to hiring and not discriminate against individuals based on their past or current employer.
Let's strive for fairness and equality in the job market.
