We have all encountered this scenario previously. Offering pragmatic resolutions to clients can aid sales teams in elevating customer contentment and enhancing lead conversion rates. In the grand scheme of things, this approach plays a pivotal role in circumventing delivery delays and guaranteeing a seamless project lifecycle.

Sometimes, letting the engineering team speak to the real problems can motivate the client towards real solutions.
This whole notion of sales teams and engineering teams not being on the same page is a problem that I continually have to solve for companies, when brought in to handle "system issues".
Sales teams provide feedback for engineers on the customer experience, and defines the fiscal opportunity/risk.
Engineering teams provide insights to sales on design decisions, scheduling, known solutions, and should be the metric for a businesses productivity levels.
It's very common for sales and engineering teams to not be on the same page, and the worst part of it is the number of companies who are okay keeping these skeletons in the closet - because who wants to take responsibility for the problem when it's you?

🚀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴!
During a discovery call, this topic was brought up—especially if you’re the type of person spinning multiple plates, and juggling multiple responsibilities.
Unfortunately, those middle-of-the-night “I should really write that down” moments happen 𝘢 𝘭𝘰𝘵. 🌙✍️
And it’s happening more: we are constantly bombarded with 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗧𝗼𝗸𝘀 featuring business book recommendations, 𝗟𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱𝗜𝗻 articles to read, and 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 to catch up on.
At Stow, I wanted to provide a super simple way to capture those tasks and add them to your to-dos. ✅
We’re currently testing the MVP with a select cohort and are thrilled to have some great feedback coming in already (in less than 24 hours)! 🎉
You can still sign up for early beta access on our website, which should be launching in early 2025. 👀
India’s triumphant victory in the T20 World Cup final was a moment of pure sporting drama and relief. After a 13-year wait, they fought back to beat South Africa by seven runs in a thrilling encounter1. Here are some key factors that contributed to their success:
Composure Under Pressure: The players’ ability to maintain composure during critical moments was crucial. Whether it was Virat Kohli’s match-defining 76 off 59 balls or Arshdeep Singh’s tight penultimate over, India’s calmness under pressure made the difference2.
Bowling Excellence: Jasprit Bumrah’s superb bowling (2-18) and the team’s collective effort restricted South Africa to 169-8. Their ability to execute plans under pressure was commendable1.
Superstar Lineup: India boasts a team of superstars chosen from a population of 1.4 billion. Their talent pool and depth of skill were evident throughout the tournament1.
Redemption: For Hardik Pandya, this victory was redemption after the heartbreak of losing the 50-over World Cup final to Australia eight months earlier. His crucial wicket of Heinrich Klaasen turned the game in India’s favor1.
Historical Significance: This win marked India’s second T20 World Cup title, having won the inaugural tournament in 2007. It also ended their 11-year ICC trophy drought, bringing immense joy to fans and players alike3.
In the end, it wasn’t just about statistics; it was about passion, determination, and the sheer joy of victory. India’s cricketing journey continues to inspire fans worldwide 🏆🇮🇳
Hearing success stories or learning about how others have tackled challenges in business inspires confidence. It shows that setbacks are part of the process and helps women push forward with their own ventures.

Sometimes just taking a deep breath and engaging in our playful sides is exactly what we need to reset and reengage in news ways in the business. Love this reminder Hayley that laughter, creativity, teamwork, and play can have a significant impact on our connections and our joy.

One of Transcend's team commitments is "Joy," and I truly experienced that during our Tri-annual meeting earlier this month. Jaci, Kevin, and Mike organized a scavenger hunt that included rollerblading, a gondola ride over Spokane Falls, and a merry-go-round ride - and those were just the first three stops!
It was a fantastic reminder to embrace joy in everything we do… which is even sweeter when your team wins the competition! Special shout-out to Craig, Makenzie, and Kevin for that. 🥇
Here’s to more fun and memorable moments.
