760,000+ views this year – how does that stack up? If each view were a seat on Heart Aerospace’s electric ES-30, we’d be filling planes every day for nearly 70 years. That’s the kind of momentum your listens, reads, and shares have created around #sustainableaviation. For a niche space, that’s pretty electrifying and worth celebrating. What’s the one topic you think deserves more attention in 2025? 💚

This LinkedIn post celebrates the transformative impact of John B. Thomson Sr. on the field of linear motion. His patented linear ball bushing® revolutionized the industry, replacing traditional low-speed bushings crafted from materials like bronze, wood, and cast iron. The introduction of the linear ball bushing® likely elicited awe akin to witnessing SPACEX successfully catching a rocket body. Thomson's innovation not only changed the way engineers approached linear motion but also turned design dreams into tangible realities. My post underscores the significance of advancements like the linear ball bushing® in pushing boundaries and shaping the future of linear motion engineering. #bearings #linearmotion #linearballbearings

Interesting feature article about the smallsat propulsion ecosystem. According to SpaceNews, the ecosystem is getting out of the hype cycle and the numerous suppliers need now to deliver, without losing view of the main goal, as one small sat company CEO puts it : "Some propulsion companies are chasing the wrong things. They worry about fancy manufacturing techniques, fashionable propellant, new business models, maybe an extra digit in the performance specs. But in the end, it is all about the basics — make sure the tank does not leak and the system works as promised.” It is a good thing that this is exactly what we have in France (and in Europe) : propulsion companies that are focused on delivering a product that, first of all, works well ! https://lnkd.in/exgq2W6X

Modern challenges demand architectures that redefine what's possible. Whether in defense, space, or beyond, the future belongs to those who dare to innovate and disrupt established norms. I was inspired by Uwe Horstmann post on Mithra OS showcasing ARX Robotics’ game-changing solution for upgrading legacy systems in defense. Uwe’s work with Project A Ventures highlights their focus on investing in companies that not only innovate but also bring operational excellence to life. This resonates deeply with the challenges we are tackling at Neutron Star Systems. At NSS, we are redefining mobility in space. With superconductor-based propulsion technology, SUPREME, we are not just bridging the gap between legacy and next-gen systems; we are enabling entirely new possibilities. SUPREME offers scalability, sustainability, and dynamic mobility for future-proof space missions—whether it’s satellite repositioning, orbital debris removal, or cislunar operations. Much like Project A Ventures' hands-on approach to fostering growth in its portfolio companies, we are driven by the need to make space systems adaptable, efficient, and resilient. By integrating advanced technologies like AI and multimode propulsion, NSS is paving the way for a sustainable and secure future in space mobility. This is more than an engineering challenge—it’s about shaping a new paradigm in space operations, one that mirrors the transformative ideas in Uwe’s post. Collaboration across sectors—defense, space, and venture capital—is essential to push boundaries and meet the demands of a fast-changing world. What are your thoughts on bridging the gap between legacy systems and next-gen architectures? Let’s connect and shape the conversation around innovation, sustainability, and absolut resilience. #Innovation #SpaceMobility #Superconductors #DefenseTech #VC #Sustainability #supremetech #deeptech

We are proud to share our recent collaboration with NewSpace Systems, a forward-thinking company that's pushing the boundaries of what's possible beyond our Earth. In striving to meet the increasing demands for satellite constellations, NewSpace Systems faced a challenge – the transition from producing a single satellite to assembling five or more at a time. This scale-up brought to light a critical issue: tin whiskers, a phenomenon that can lead to short circuits and failures in electronic components. Understanding the gravity of this, we stepped in to assist by transitioning their Bill of Materials (BOM) from lead-free to lead (Pb) alloy components. Where reliability and longevity are paramount, utilizing a Pb alloy is a practical solution to mitigate the risk of tin whiskers. This partnership not only underscores our commitment to providing practical and reliable solutions but also our ability to adapt and meet the needs of our partners in the dynamic field of space technology. It's a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of addressing challenges with innovation. We are excited about the future of the space industry and honoured to play a part in enabling NewSpace Systems to continue their invaluable work. Here's to many more opportunities to learn, grow, and explore the final frontier together. #Innovation #Collaboration #SatelliteTechnology

Just came across this post, it reminded me the old graphics we use to illustrate some of the aspects of how our platform is being used. Many companies are coming to the same observation: Composability is the key to unlock value and minimize costs.

😱 Ouch! That feeling when your ride leaves without you, and you're stuck in space for a few extra months! 🚀 This is exactly what happened with the Boeing Starliner—delayed due to helium leaks. 💡 💡 💡 But here's the cool part: Boeing rapidly addressed the issue using advanced digital tools like Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) to model and tackle the problem, that is to say a digital twin. It's a great example of how technology and innovation are helping us overcome even the toughest challenges in space exploration! https://lnkd.in/dNHggR7B
