‘Urbanisation cannot be reversed’. A senior consultant told us in an online session today! Though we all knew it, it creates a lot of emotions when we hear it as a statement. For someone who hails from a self reliant village, that’s painful to hear. I think Professionals who were raised in rural areas see things differently than who are born and brought up in urban areas, when it comes to sustainable development. Despite Government policies supporting urbanisation, conscious individuals and communities have already started looking out for sustainable options. Like all other living beings, when it comes to survival, humans will also select the right choice.
