A 5 month program so we can "talk" to teens about online safety? Are you kidding me? Give me 5 hours in charge of your development team and I'll fix your problems for you! This isn't rocket science Roblox. More screen time = negative effects on mental health, physical health, social skills, behavior, sleep, vision, etc. Do you not have this data? Because you can find it with a Google search in about 10 seconds. You want to help teens? Reduce their screen time. It's that simple. Do you need a 5 month program to tell you that? Unfortunately for all of us, reducing screen time means less growth and less profitability for Roblox, and that's not good for your shareholders, is it?

Seems like this is a way to stall real change. You know what you need to do to fix at least 75% of the bad but I get it you don't want to have to do it as it will hurt play time. It isn't all your fault. As a parent I know I need to watch my daughter like a hawk with anything about online, game or not. Maybe this should be a parents Council as well and tools built to make that job easier for us.

Why are people celebrating Roblox when we all know this type of stuff is meant to distract us into thinking they care about our kids? Roblox cares about one thing, and one thing only...keep kids online in their app for as many hours as possible. They recently sent out an email about how they were changing parental controls and "these features will be available to parents of children under the age of 13." But wait for it, here's the catch, you have to jump through hoops to change the birthdate, including a passcode that is sent to you with a 30 second timer, and the passcode takes over a minute to send. This would normally be a bug in the code, but I don't think it's a bug for Roblox at all. It seems very deliberate to me. As someone that has worked in the software industry for over two decades, I can tell you that their designs are very deliberate. The parental controls in Roblox are pathetic, and they know that. The worse the parental controls, the less control the parents have on their kids, and the more time their kids spend online. This company should be embarrassed for what they stand for. It's a shame that we live in a society that has let these types of unscrupulous companies control our lives and the lives of our kids.

if anyone here is part of roblox support team, message me i need support about an account that got banned spend about 9000$ in total and didnt get a single help through roblox support i dont want to hire a lawyer and let it reach to a serious level, all i want someone with humanity and have feelings towards other to message me and get my roblox account unbanned due to the reason it was banned wasnt me i got unahtorized user had accsess rk everything inclduing my gmail. my roblox account username is : AwfulYoseff

I like the approach, but I still think we should just get an appraise towards many social media community posts by many creators who create assets like UGCs to stick attention towards. I believe Roblox is going a good direction, but it needs still some minor changes to their approach to aid people who support their own platform. Many get banned innocently lately, the % rate of that should be ~0.00005%(of 2.5mil Roblox Developers) of developers monthly.

Love that Roblox has included categories to support neurodivergent and LGBTQ teens. Amazing step in the right direction.

Good to see Roblox making some moves in that direction. I would love to see them getting serious with partners that really know how to do it like GamerSafer.

Hopefully alongside the community many problems can be quelled by good moderation suggested by the community.
