Some moments become engrained in my soul. Like the time when we took up all three parking spots at our first office. The same one when we needed a 5th plumbing truck, and a 3rd vac truck. The same one when we invested in lining equipment, and got a big PO the next week. This feeling is addictive, and it is one that I continue to chase daily. It is the feeling when a dream becomes a reality, when a vision becomes a real picture. It’s a feeling that I wouldn’t trade for anything, because just like a young boy who has dreams of becoming something, I get to relive this feeling every once in a while. The front parking lot is full, the back also. As of next week we will start parking on the grass. This is the evolution of GreenTeam | Building Services, and the experience of all the feelings, is the reward for all the fighting it takes to get here. This is the award, nothing fancy, just the re-assurance that we’re on to something big. 70+ employees this week, and growing daily. Train is rolling, we’re gonna cover Florida in Green. The big question is, who is coming with us???

If you are in real estate in Central Ohio there was a lot to celebrate this week: 1) A globally recognized manufacturing project, receiving federal support & securing a major new partnership, which brought renewed confidence to a generational opportunity. 2) A leading global employer declaring that culture is not a birthright- its something that need to be worked at & that the office plays a part in strengthening a company’s culture. 3)The Fed cutting it’s rate by half a point-calming some of the major headwinds facing developers & creating momentum to get back to building. And last but not least- the opening of Butcher & Rose for lunch service-which based on today’s attendance will be one of THE spot for a “downtown power lunch”. The future is bright!

The great holiday debate: real tree or artificial tree? 🎄 Around the office, we’ve got some strong opinions on this one! Some of us love the fresh pine scent and tradition of a real tree, while others swear by the convenience and longevity of an artificial one. Where do you stand—team real or team artificial? Let us know in the comments! Alex Seay #BirdLawGroup #GiveEmTheBird #ChristmasTree #ThisOrThat

From Hawkeye to Eagle-Eye: Focusing on Real Estate Development Happy (late) Labor Day! 🎉 As we celebrate the 130th anniversary #LaborDay (made official in 1894 #FunFact), it's also a great time to reflect on the unofficial end of summer and what’s ahead. Last Week Recap We started by taking a broad “Hawkeye” view of Real Estate—comparing Residential vs. Commercial, then zooming in on Commercial Real Estate (CRE), and finally narrowing down to Real Estate Development (RED). This Week II Transitioning to an “Eagle-Eye” view, we begin diving deeper into Real Estate Development. The focus? Building a solid foundation. Planning strategically from the start will save you time, energy, and money while maximizing returns. Here’s what’s coming up next: Today I'll share my personal journey into real estate and what led me into RED. Tomorrow, we take a closer look at Asset Type & Location – and how to choose what’s best for you. Thursday, more on my personal focus areas and why they matter. Friday, an introduction to my current development project, which I’ll be using as a case study. Stay tuned! Let's dive into this RED journey together. #RealEstateDevelopment #RED101 #StrategicPlanning #AssetTypes #LocationMatters #LaborDay

This is Bolly (short for Bollinger 🍾) our four-month-old Bedlington puppy. Most days she wakes up confused, not sure what day it is, and with spectacular bed hair. If you've woken up feeling the same, I recommend two things - in this order: 1. A strong coffee (I'm on my third...☕️). 2. An exceptional Virtual Assistant to help you get calm, clear and focused - and to give you more hours in the day to be your brilliant best. Fancy a free chat about how we can tame your chaos? August is National Traffic Awareness Month 🚦 During Placemaking Week, we discussed the state of traffic calming in Baltimore City. Traffic calming uses design interventions to help reduce vehicle speed and improve safety for pedestrians and cyclists. The need for traffic calming measures has resonated with many communities, like Johnston Square, where vehicles have been tracked going more than 80 mph in a school zone 🚸 Quinton Javon Batts, who conceived the "Made You Look" initiative, shared at Placemaking Making Week, some of the best community-based design and implementation practices when it comes to working with residents on traffic calming. One of his big takeaways were, most residents don't feel their voices are being heard on this issue. So the first step is walking through a neighborhood and asking people, "Where do you like to walk or bike to?" You discover the different routes people take to school or work, and which roads and intersections have a highest volume of traffic 🚗 Through these basic engagement practices, you learn what the community's main concerns and goals are, and which traffic calming measure could help improve road safety. These interventions are affordable, easy to get permits for, and quick to install. I realize the first official day of spring was back in March. That said, for me spring starts as I see the new shoots in our gardens, the flowering of our crabapple tree, and the return of the frogs croaking in our woods. It is this time of year when the world is bursting into life that approaches something sacred. So get out of your office and walk in nature for a bit. And here's something to listen to while you do: Vivaldi - Spring https://lnkd.in/gfDqbtfq #medtechrecruiter #hightechrecruiter #marketingrecruiter #salesrecruiter
