The drilling, which ran from late January to mid-April, included 49 drill holes spanning 4,089 metres. This initiative aimed at the Blackbush deposit's roll fronts has revealed noteworthy uranium intersections, aligning with strategic exploration objectives. Ground gravity surveys played a crucial role in identifying the target palaeochannels, enhancing the accuracy of deposit targeting. Rhino Resources Ltd has spudded its debut exploration well in #Namibia’s prolific Orange basin, targeting a huge prospect that the country’s petroleum commissioner previously described as “amazing”. The privately-owned player, headed by chief executive Travis Smithard , operates Petroleum Exploration Licence (PEL) 85, just south of Galp Energia's huge Mopane discovery in PEL 83, and directly east of the multiple finds Shell has made in PEL 39, including Graff. The Sagittarius-1X probe is being drilled by the drillship Noble Venturer in a water depth of about 1400 metres and is expected to take some 45 days to drill. Rhino will also drill a second well immediately after Sagittarius and, subject to the well results, possible additional activities that could be triggered. HyTerra (ASX:HYT) has secured a critical milestone with the approval of a drilling permit for the Sue Duroche-3 well within its flagship Nemaha Project in Kansas. 🇺🇸✅ The permit issued by the Kansas Corporation Commission situates the well ~200 metres north of the 2009 Sue Duroche-2 drilling site, historically known for high concentrations up to 92% Hydrogen and up to 3% Helium. The company, through its subsidiary HYT Operating LLC, holds over 3450 acres of leased land contiguous to this site. Additional permits for hydrogen and helium prospects are concurrently being prepared, supporting $HYT’s timeline for maiden drilling anticipated in Q3 2024. 🗓️ “Securing this drill permit is a crucial milestone. Helix Exploration: Next helium well to be drilled later this week as prep work is completed @HelixExp #AIM #HEX. Helix Exploration PLC has completed road and drill pad construction at its Rudyard helium project in northern Montana, moving closer to appraisal drilling at the site. The Treasure State Drilling Cardwell KB-150 rig is now in place, with work on the Darwin #1 well expected to start this week. The plan is to evaluate an estimated 484,193 Mcf of helium, valued at over $250 million based on current market prices.
