Strike Energy’s Post

Another key milestone ticked for West Erregulla today, with the Commonwealth Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water signing off on the development of the upstream infrastructure for the West Erregulla gas field under the Commonwealth’s Environment Protection and Biodiversity Act 1999 (Cth) (EPBC). This approval represents the last in a series of key environmental approvals required by the L25/EP469 JV and Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (the midstream gas plant provider) to progress the development of the West Erregulla gas field. The L25/EP469 JV is a joint venture between Strike Energy (50% & Operator) and Warrego Energy 469 Pty Ltd (50%).
