R U OK? Day - Let's Look After Our Mates Today is R U OK? Day, and it's a perfect opportunity to remind ourselves of the importance of looking after each other. Whether it's through a quick chat, a thoughtful message, or simply being there to listen, your support can make a significant difference. Here are a few ways you can make an impact: Ask: Reach out and ask, “Are you OK?” in a genuine, caring manner. Listen: Offer your full attention and be a compassionate listener. Encourage: Support your mates in taking steps toward feeling better, whether that’s talking to someone or taking time for themselves. Check-In: Follow up to see how they’re doing and show that you care. Remember, we’re all in this together. By taking these small but powerful actions, we contribute to a more supportive and connected community. R U OK? #RUOKDay #MentalHealth #SupportEachOther #LookAfterYourMates #CommunityCare

Life can throw us some devastating news, and it can feel overwhelming. 💔 Tonight, I reflect on the tough decisions I’ve faced and the power of vulnerability. How do YOU handle life’s hardest moments? Do you allow your village to lift you up like you do for others? 🤝 It’s okay to lean on those who love you — they want to help just as much as you do when they need you. Let’s support one another. 🌟💖 #Vulnerability #SupportSystem #LeaningOnYourVillage #ToughDecisions #CommunityCare

Watch our new video to follow Saran's 'Filling My Cup' session, where she shared her insights and experiences. https://lnkd.in/eH2U_xTm
At Hope Inspired, we make time for filling our cups so we can restore and replenish our mental, emotional and physical energy. When our cup is empty, we are exhausted and drained. Everything is an effort and there is little joy in life. A full (or fuller) cup makes us feel rested and energised. It helps us manage stress and supports our well-being. Saran sums up the concept of filling our cups beautifully when she says our weekly gatherings are invigorating! As a full-time carer, Saran values the “me time” she gets to enjoy with the others, joining in with an arts/crafts activity or just having a catch up over a cuppa. Contact us to find out where we are currently running our Filling My Cup! meet-ups. #Wellness #EmotionalWellbeing #WellnessCoaching #Community #CommunityGroup #WardEndLibrary #Birmingham
