Hello, Unfortunately I was part of the #TeslaLayoffs. I can’t say I’m sad given the experience I had at Tesla. I will however miss my coworkers as they taught me so many things. I am happy with how much I learned and with the knowledge I have gained. I am taking this opportunity to focus on what I have really been interested in this these last couple of years which is Data Science & Machine Learning. At Tesla I had been working with Longformer NLP models for text summarization and I fell in love with it. I would go home and read about NLP  and I could not get enough of it, it would even follow me into my dreams. I have also worked with many different models such as Mask-RCNN for detecting faces on manga characters and Autoencoders for anomaly detection in time series data. I have worked a lot with computer vision models. I really like deep learning and I feel like I could spend the rest of my life dabbling with it. I would gladly work anywhere that let’s me build cool stuff with their data. I do eventually want to make it back into Remote Sensing/Geospatial Analytics but for now I know I want to focus on ML.
