How do we appreciate you? Let us count the ways! On the final work-Friday before Christmas we hope you all get to spend some quality time "off-task" with your colleagues, appreciating how each team member is special in their own way and remembering how we're fueled by unique thoughts, hopes, and dreams. In spite of everything...'we're not that different, you and I'. Thank you to everyone who follows our organization and team members on our socials! Much obliged to those who liked, shared, commented, smirked, and/or who found even a modicum of value in our content this year. We hope some if it helped...in some small way. We appreciate you! Merry Christmas, happy holidays, ENJOY and be smart out there on your way home to those that matter most to you. See you all in one piece in 2025! #AppreciationPost #grateful #gratitude #MerryChristmas #MerryXMAS #HappyHolidays

A Holiday Message About Appreciation As we reflect on this season, we are reminded of a classic holiday story: the tale of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. At first, Rudolph's glowing nose set him apart and it was not always celebrated. But when a foggy Christmas Eve threatened to halt Santa's journey, it was Rudolph's unique talent that saved the day, guiding the sleigh and ensuring joy reached every corner of the world. This story is a reminder of the importance of recognising and valuing each team member's individuality and contributions. Just like Rudolph, each employee brings something unique to the table- whether they lead the way, support from behind the scenes, or go above and beyond to keep everything running smoothly. At Brownie Points we are proud to help organisations celebrate the exceptional qualities of every team member through tailored rewards and recognition programs. When your team feels recognised and appreciated, their engagement and productivity shine even brighter. We encourage you to take a moment to celebrate and elevate your team. Their efforts, big and small, make your success possible. And you make a difference here every day, and for that, we remain grateful. Wishing you a holiday season filled with warmth, wonder and the magic of the season and a New Year filled with growth, purpose & positivity. Today, I had the joy of hosting a Christmas party for my team at home. It was incredible to see everyone make the effort to drive a long way, not for a meeting or a deadline, but simply to connect. As we laughed, reminisced about our team's history, and reflected on how far we’ve come, it struck me: in the whirlwind of everyday tasks and deadlines, we rarely go beyond a quick “Hi, how’s it going?” Moments like these remind me why our work matters—not just the what we do but the who we do it with. These are the people who make long days feel lighter, who collaborate selflessly, and who embody the “no jerk policy” that has helped our culture thrive, even as we grow exponentially. Seeing smiles across the room instead of heads buried in laptops was a refreshing change. It reaffirmed that it’s people and connections that turn hard work into something fulfilling. So, this holiday season, I encourage everyone to pause. Take time to celebrate your wins, reflect on your journey, and connect with your teams—not just as colleagues, but as humans. Because at the end of the day, there’s no “I” in team, and the success of any organization is built on the strength of its people working together. Happy Holidays, everyone! Let’s keep the spirit of connection alive. 🎉✨

Well it has been a while so here it is…. Christmas Eve Reflections: Gratitude, Growth, and Holiday Cheer As I sit down this Christmas Eve, I find myself reflecting on the journey this past year has taken me on. About five months ago, I transitioned to the Learning & Development department, and I couldn’t be more thankful for the amazing team I’ve joined. From day one, I’ve been surrounded by talented, supportive teammates, incredible cross-team collaborations, and inspiring leadership that truly empowers us to succeed. That said, I’d be remiss if I didn’t take a moment to recognize the incredible team I worked with in the Employee Relations department. To my former colleagues…you were an awesome team, and the work we accomplished together will always hold a special place in my heart. The lessons I learned will continue to shape the way I approach my work today. I’m proud to have served along side you. To my new team, old team, cross-functional partners, and the leadership who’ve guided me along the way…I’m incredibly grateful for each of you. The support, camaraderie, and shared purpose we’ve built are the highlights of my professional journey. As we celebrate this awesome holiday season, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May your holidays be filled with joy, peace, and gratitude. Here’s to an incredible 2025 ahead…together, we’ll continue to grow, innovate, and make an impact. #WeAreGDIT #ChristmasEveReflections #Thankfulness #LearningAndDevelopment #EmployeeRelations #Teamwork #Leadership #Gratitude #MerryChristmas #HappyNewYear #ProfessionalGrowth #HolidayReflections

The Christmas season and year-end period are a meaningful time for me as an employee and leader. It’s a season to reflect on the year’s accomplishments, recognize the efforts of my colleagues and team, and celebrate the milestones we’ve achieved together. As the Head of Operations in my team, this period allows me to foster a sense of unity and appreciation within the team, ensuring that everyone feels valued for their contributions. It’s also a time for introspection—looking back on my personal and professional growth, learning from challenges, and setting ambitious goals for the future. The festive atmosphere provides an opportunity to strengthen relationships with my colleagues, celebrate our collective successes, and align our visions for the year ahead. Year-end for me isn’t just about wrapping up tasks; it’s about setting the stage for the coming year. This includes participating in strategic planning, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting my team in preparing for new opportunities. The season also gives me a chance to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and return to work with renewed energy and enthusiasm. For me, the Christmas season is a perfect blend of gratitude, celebration, and forward-thinking—a time to appreciate the journey so far and look ahead to even greater possibilities. It’s a reminder of the importance of teamwork, resilience, and a shared commitment to growth and success. Above all its a season of love. #complimentsoftheseason

🎄 How does Christmas change when you go from employee to boss? 🎅 Let’s unwrap the journey together! 🎁✨ When you’re an employee, Christmas is a magical pause—a chance to soak in the festivities, exchange Secret Santa gifts, and reflect on the year’s achievements with your team. It’s about the joy of being part of something bigger, celebrating milestones together, and feeling valued as a contributor. But when you become a boss, Christmas takes on a different meaning. It’s no longer just about celebrating; it’s about creating moments that matter. Finding Joy Together: A Message for the Team This year has been tough, and it’s okay if the holidays feel different. Maybe the usual traditions don’t bring the same joy, or the idea of celebrating feels overwhelming. That’s completely okay. Instead of focusing on how things used to be, let’s find joy in the little things—a kind word, a small win, or a shared laugh. It doesn’t have to be big to matter. something to reflect on : 1. What small moment has brought you joy recently? 2. How can we support each other in finding those moments? 3. What’s one simple thing we can do to make this season brighter for ourselves or others? Let’s lead with grace—for ourselves and each other. Small joys add up, and together, we can create something meaningful, even in a challenging year.
