The growing challenge with increasing rack power density is heat removal. Traditional air flow-based heat removal is no longer sufficient for the new power-hungry CPUs and GPUs. The next generation of data centers must be prepared for liquid cooling. Extensive planning is crucial to determine the best method for retrofitting legacy centers for modern needs.
