If you are going to contact someone to do business, put your best foot forward. Blasting a generic message to 1000 people may generate a call but it will also make 999 people dislike you. Very different than 999 people simply saying no. If you are cold emailing to generate leads make sure to - add personalization - talk about your prospect (and what's in it for them) - avoid industry jargon - don’t make assumptions (about my interest, calendar availability, or how my company is operating) I will not take a meeting you with… ever.

Trust is the foundation that deals are built upon. And just as Andrew Davis said, without trust there's no revenue. Building a relationship with the prospect should always be one of the first things done, it allows for such a deeper level of connection, than just a transaction. That connection will open the door to many more potential deals with the prospect if you take advantage. You have to figure out the challenges the prospect faces yourself, so that you can offer a wide variety of solutions. If you wait for them to tell you it'll be whittled down to the smallest cheapest solution, and they might not even have a clear understanding of what it does. That's the worst case scenario but it will lose you money, it's much better to build these relationships for long term success. #contentmarketing #relationships #trustbuilding

The BEST way to create urgency to close? Ask questions that help your prospect REALIZE 2 things: #1 How WIDE the gap is from the "Current State" and their "Desired State" #2 How much it COSTS them by not taking action I share how in this short clip.
