🌟 Today is Giving Tuesday! Let's make a difference together. 🌟 Will you help us? Tech4kids empowers kids by providing access to technology and resources they need to thrive in a digital world. 📱💻 From supplying laptops to underserved schools to hosting STEM workshops, Tech4Kids is paving the way for a brighter, more inclusive future. 💡 Why it matters: 1 in 3 kids lacks access to reliable technology at home. Even a small donation can provide big opportunities: 👉 $25 helps purchase a new battery or power cord. 👉 $50 helps cover software for a child’s computer. 👉 $100 buys 4 hard drives. Click here to donate: https://lnkd.in/eqfaTTTr Let’s show the power of community and generosity. The smallest details matter in major gift fundraising. Donors notice attention to detail and appreciate the energy and effort required to get things “right”. Ok, #24NTC is approaching. It's time to start considering what to pack for Portland. For all our existing and future friends who are attending in person or virtually, we wanted to share a bit more about our Brand Leadership / Digital Strategy Giveaway. We're eager to celebrate the wonderful NTEN Nonprofit Technology Network community by giving away a "Choose Your Own Adventure" workshop to two organizations: Brand Leadership Options: - Brand Alignment - Core Messages - Content Strategy Digital Strategy Options: - Digital Assessment - Brand Stack Health Check - Activation Strategy These aren't going to be "sales calls in disguise". We're talking about robust, professionally-facilitated, human-centered engagements tailored to a organization's greatest needs with shareable, actionable takeaways. To register, I'll post a QR code in the NTC app discussion area or seek me out once the conference kicks off. ALL attending organizations are eligible, whether a nonprofit or a for-profit who serves them. Can't wait to be there, and can't wait to see old friends and make new ones while representing BPOZ Brand Leadership. #BenevolentBusiness #BrandLeadership #Nonprofits #NonprofitTech #NTC #24NTC

Happy #PiDay everyone! Join us in making a lasting impact on MIT's first-generation low-income students today! Support us by selecting the First Generation Fund (https://mtyc.co/n0wq8g) as the target for your donation (be sure to select the First Generation Fund as your designation in the donation). The First Generation Fund helps current first-generation students meet basic needs and support them as they transition from undergraduate studies to working professionals or graduate school education. The First Generation Alumni Board and FLI@MIT has supported the student body with numerous programs including: - Admitted students volunteer call program that connects first-gen alumni with first-gen admitted students - Informational webinars in English, Mandarin, and Spanish - Workshops focused on financial literacy, resume preparation, managing a professional brand, and other topics This year we seek your contribution to help us achieve our fundraising goal of $7000 and 100 unique donors to support 2 important initiatives: - hosting an in-person lunch/dinner to connect first-gen students and alumni to discuss career decision making process, and - sponsoring stoles for first-gen students as they reach their significant milestone. Testimonials “The support of MIT's FLI community and faculty not only helped me survive, but thrive, as a first-generation, low-income student, transforming my dream of attending college into a reality at MIT.” — Crista Flak ’23 6-9 (https://lnkd.in/dWkQUyiq) “FLI@MIT has been a transformative force, uniting first-generation and low-income students like myself, providing a crucial sense of community and belonging amidst MIT's academic challenges, and shaping my undergraduate journey into one of resilience and growth.” — Eren Shin ’23 6-9 and 7 (https://lnkd.in/dP_8i3EW) More stories from students and faculty here (https://lnkd.in/dyqbvVF7). How do we know we run STEM programs where they’re most needed? Our partner schools tell us! 😊 🧡 After a bootcamp or donation, we often get heartfelt letters from our partner schools. 💌 We love hearing how students apply our introductory STEM lessons and how they use their new learning materials. #stemlearning #designthinking #ScienceAndTech #sustainabledevelopment
