Cold emails: the equivalent of sliding into someone’s DMs. Done right, they can open doors to new opportunities. Done wrong, they end up in the spam folder and get you blocked. #b2b #business #automation #sales https://lnkd.in/gaV65diM

The ultimate 3 step cold email framework you need. Easy to customize for each prospect Here's the breakdown. 👇🏻 1️⃣ Hook - grab attention - make it relevant - pick up curiosity - make it about them, so they keep reading 2️⃣ Main content - address their pain point - always solve a problem - highlight benefits over features - show how you can help - explain why they should care - show what’s in it for them - give social proof 3️⃣ CTA - soft CTA -make it easy to answer ‘yes’ - keep it short - guide them on what to do next - offer a specific, low-commitment next step Example: Hey pranav There seem to be 2 openings for a SDR role on your team. Building and managing a high-performing outbound sales team takes time and resources Have you explored the strategy of using a global fully managed team to support your outbound sales growth? Email copy tip: Generalize the negative, personalize the positive. Example: (Generalized negative) Many businesses slack on using automation to move sales opportunities forward. (Personalized positive) Not you though. With a few automations, you'll be closing deals faster than your competitors can send their first "just checking in" email. ----- Generalizing the negative removes any chance your subscriber feels like they are to be blamed for [x]. Which will build resistance to taking action in the email. Personalizing the positive helps them "see" or "visualize" their possible future state after doing [thing in email]. And reduces the mental friction of taking action. Which reminds me... have you signed up for my mini-course "Automatic Sales" yet? Not only do I show you the exact automations you need, I review each piece of copy and talk about little things like this that make you stand out. Check the comments for the link.

Cold call tip. No matter what you sell, people already have a solution. Say you’re selling Warmbox, a tool to keep cold emails out of spam. (No affiliation.) Prospects are already getting the job done. How? They’re setting up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC protocols. Monitoring sending reputation and blacklists. Removing invalid emails. And throttling email volume. To loosen their grip on the status quo, illuminate the problem with “the current way.” How? Call it out while showing a better option: “When managing cold email deliverability, are you handling it manually—removing invalid emails, monitoring blacklists, setting up SPF, DKIM, and DMARC—or is it automated?” See what I did? I subtly challenge their method by calling out the manual, time-consuming steps and hinting at a smoother solution. Why does this work? By describing their current process, you make it easy for them to recognize limitations—without directly telling them they’re wrong. Framing it as a question hints at automation and invites them to consider an alternative. It prompts reflection rather than resistance. Then, assume they’ve thought about automation: “You’ve probably looked into automating it.” Listen with humble curiousity. No agenda. Why does this matter? People are more persuaded by what they realize themselves—not what salespeople tell them. Buyers have the answers. Sellers have the questions. Ditch the pitch. Poke the bear.

Here’s the #1 reason your outbound isn’t working It’s not your email templates. It’s not your subject lines. It’s not even your call-to-action. It’s because your solution isn’t solving a 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘢𝘣𝘰𝘶𝘵. Here’s the thing: If you’re offering a “nice-to-have” instead of a “need-to-have,” no amount of clever outreach will help. Prospects ignore emails when the pain you’re solving isn’t a pressing enough pain. So, what can you do if your product isn’t an obvious must-have? Here’s how to fix it: 𝟭. 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻 Talk to your customers. What keeps them up at night? What’s costing them time, money, or sanity? Find the one pain they’d drop everything to solve. 𝟮. 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻 Your product might not change, but your messaging should. Speak directly to the problem you’re solving, not the features you offer. 𝟯. 𝗚𝗲𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗶𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 Generic pitches don’t work. Reference the pain. Tie it to their role or industry. Show you understand their world better than anyone else. 𝟰. 𝗕𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘁 Ask yourself: If you received your own email, would 𝘺𝘰𝘶 respond? If the answer is no, revisit your offer and messaging. Outbound isn’t about being clever, it’s about being relevant and clear. Specifically on PAIN! If your prospects truly value what you’re offering, they’ll respond. #clay #outbound #sales #automation

Sales Professionals: Here’s Why Your Cold Email Strategy Sucks. (And It’s Not Your Fault) Let’s be honest – if your cold email response rates are low, it’s not you. It’s your approach. Here’s why it’s not working: ➡️ Generic Templates – No one responds to mass emails that don’t feel personal. ➡️ Bad Data – Outdated or inaccurate lead info makes your outreach pointless. ➡️ Weak Follow-Ups – One email isn’t enough. Outbound isn’t dead. Your process just sucks. And, I spoke to 600+ sales professionals who told me how to fix it: I’ve had hundreds of conversation over the past 6 months. And, unsurprisingly, they’ve all been saying the same things: 1. Sales Reps should only be targeting the accounts that are actually a good fit Most reps spend way too much time chasing the wrong accounts. Like in much of life, the Pareto Principle applies: 90% of your number is probably going to come from 10% of your accounts. 2. Sales Reps need to take the extra step to identify the right person to target It’s not just about the decision-makers. You need a plan for the whole buying committee—directors, users, managers—everyone who’s part of the process. 3. Garbage in means garbage out This one’s simple: bad data = bad results. Even if you’re targeting the right people at the right accounts, if your data sucks (inaccurate research, wrong phone numbers, outdated emails), you’re going to struggle. Even worse, you’re going to spend half your time fixing data issues when you should be selling. 4. Deliverability is the new gatekeeper Outbound isn’t dying—your emails just aren’t hitting the inbox. If you don’t have a handle on deliverability and a strategy to fix it, it doesn't matter how amazing your messaging is. 5. Messaging requires blood, sweat, and tears This is where most teams refuse to put in the work. If your messaging can be sent in a one-size-fits-all template, it’s getting ignored. Great outbound messaging is personalized, pain-focused, and brings real value at every touch. Outbound isn't dead. We just forgot how to roll up our sleeves. What do you think? Did I miss anything?

How important is timing when responding to cold email replies? Timing is crucial when responding to cold email replies. A quick response (ideally within 3-5 minutes) shows professionalism, keeps prospects engaged, and builds trust. Delays can lead to lost interest or missed opportunities, as prospects often explore multiple options. If you want to close a lead with 100% certainty, responding within 3 to 5 minutes is a must. #B2Bleadgeneration #Emailautomationtools #Automatedemailcampaigns #b2bsalesstrategies #Emailmarketingplatforms #Businesstobusinessmarketing #Personalizedemailsolutions #B2Bcontentmarketing #Emailmarketingoptimization #B2Bdigitalmarketing #Emailengagementstrategies #B2BSEOstrategies #Emaillistsegmentation #B2Bmarketingautomation #Emailcampaignanalytics #B2Bsocialmediamarketing #Emaildeliverability #B2Bonlinemarketing #Triggeredemailsequences #B2Bmarketinganalytics
