As we close the chapter on 2024, we look forward to another year of serving our communities in Staffordshire. Our officers have faced numerous challenges and distressing incidents, but there have also been many positive moments. We are grateful for your continued support. 3dA challenging year, but ultimately a year our staff should be proud of. They have not only kept going through the intensity and busyness that defines modern day policing, but they have got back on the front foot, driven crime down, caught more criminals, and made an incredible difference to the lives of the most vulnerable in our society. But it came at a cost - standing in the gap in times of significant disorder, short notice working at the expense of time at home, and suffering daily abuse and injuries including ill informed critique from those who seem to know the job but have never sadly stepped up to do it. Thank you for all our many staff, volunteers, officers, specials and PCSO’s who have spent the year in the arena and not on the sidelines.
