I finally finished unpacking and setting up my home office. It’s taken me a year, but who’s counting? As we approach the holiday season, I’ve been thinking about what to get our customers and partners to show appreciation—and that led me to a bit of nostalgia. I came across this piece of swag from 2000, produced during my time at EarthWeb (now Dice). EarthWeb wasn’t just a job; it was a defining chapter of my career. It was a time of constant learning, exciting innovation, and (let’s be honest) a lot of fun. My passion project there was ITKnowledge, the first online repository of technical books from top publishers like Macmillan (Steven Hammersly), Wiley (Robert Ipsen), Coriolis (Jeff Duntemann and Keith Weiskamp), Sybex (Jordan Gold), Wordware (Jim S. Hill) and more. It was ahead of its time, serving corporate and library customers who appreciated having access to technical resources all in one place. Sometimes I wonder, what if we’d had more time? Where might ITKnowledge have gone? But the best part of that journey was the team—a group of truly exceptional professionals who brought the vision to life. Jack Hidary Murray Hidary, Nova Spivack, The late Walter Harp, Ann Feng Simon, Steve Peltzman Steve Walter, Lori Silverstein, Jennifer Bassuk, Wells Megalli, AIA, Tim Ryan, Tal Kagan, John Berzolla, Mark Opalski, Craig Tuller, Jennifer Martzolf, James Mebane, Tim Hangge, Juan Montes, Diana Pan, Mark Schlack, Wendy Ferrara, Dana Chenier, Timothy Benell and the list goes on. Looking back at those moments reminds me that some of the best ideas and relationships are forged when you’re having fun, learning as you go, and surrounded by great people. Sometimes, the past holds the best clues for how to move forward. 2024 has been a great year here at Primeview USA. I get to work with some of the best people around and exciting products and technologies. 2025 is going to be awesome! #Throwback #LookingBack #NostalgicVibes #BackInTheDay #GoodOldDays #DigitalTransformation #ProductEvolution #TeamworkMakesTheDreamWork #StrongerTogether #LessonsFromThePast #LookingBackToMoveForward #ProAv #AVTweeps #avislife #ledvideowalls #PrimeviewGlobal #FusionMAX, #FusionLED #CustomLED #LED #Teamwork

𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 "𝗦𝗼𝗳𝘁𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗹" 𝗮𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟭𝘀𝘁! For the past few years, I've been working on something close to my heart. "Software for the Soul" combines my experiences as a software developer with a journey of personal growth. It’s a book that shows how the skills we use every day — problem-solving, refactoring, and optimization — can also be applied to our personal lives. As developers, we often focus on building technical excellence, but personal growth sometimes takes a back seat. This book was born from the challenges I faced early in my career, when I realized that technical skills alone weren’t enough to create real impact. "Software for the Soul" is a roadmap to help others in the tech industry find balance and purpose in both their careers and personal lives. I'll be officially launching the book at Rockstars Valley on September 21st, and I’m excited to share more about this journey with you all. Stay tuned for more updates! #RockstarsValley #SoftwareForTheSoul #SoftwareDevelopment #PersonalGrowth "Software for the Soul" is now available in softcover on Amazon. Purchase today and have a chance to win a one-week vacation in Tuscany for 4 people. Offer valid until October 13, 2024. https://lnkd.in/eiAxUnuv

Embracing the Ups and Downs of New Tech (Even on a Friday! 😅) It's Friday, and while many of us are gearing up for the weekend, the world of tech doesn’t always follow the same schedule. New tools, platforms, and updates don't stop for the "weekend" and they often bring their share of excitement...and challenges. Sometimes things break. Sometimes the learning curve feels more like a mountain. But here’s the thing—those ups and downs are all part of the journey. They help us grow, adapt, and ultimately innovate. So whether your new tech is crushing it or causing some head-scratching moments, lean in. Progress doesn’t pause for the weekend, but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate the wins (and troubleshoot the bumps) with a little extra Friday energy. 💪💡 #TechJourney #FridayVibes #LearningCurve #EmbraceChange #KeepPushing

🎉 The secret’s out! Sally Ip and I are excited to finally unveil our new adventure: All & Sundry, an Airtable consultancy built for the future! A two part story: Sally and I met in 2021 while working at a workflow automation agency, and from day one, we clicked, from values to work style to our vision for how to make a real impact with the clients we worked with. It’s been almost 3 years since then and that foundation of trust and shared passion has set the stage for everything we’re building now. That was part 1. Part 2 happened earlier this year, when I responded to a LinkedIn post from GreenShoot Innovation asking to meet with Airtable experts. Dozens of Zoom calls and two in-person meetups later, we’ve teamed up to launch an Airtable channel partnership together. The wealth of experience and wisdom they’ve brought is genuinely unmatched, and it’s been such a great experience learning from their kindness, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas. We couldn't have asked for a better partner as we bring All & Sundry to life. We’ve loved Airtable for years (shoutout to Riley Spicer and the rest of the Microverse team, without whom I may never have found this leviathan of a tool), and we believe in its mission. Airtable has revolutionized the citizen builder economy from day one, empowering startups and enterprises to work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively. It’s aiming to become the backbone of the new value chain. We’re all in on that vision, and we think the best way to do so is by doing something a little different. Our goal is to redefine what Airtable consultancy looks like—to build handpicked teams for each client made up of Airtable experts, project managers, and industry insiders who truly understand context from day one. We love building workflows—we love helping people drive real change more. We’re incredibly excited about using a tool we love, building teams we love, and helping all & sundry (yup, all and sundry!) build what they need to thrive. The next year is going to be all about growth, exploration, and tons of cool projects. We’re beyond excited to share this journey with you—stay tuned! Cheers :)

3 months into our Bluebird Journey. Here are my learnings from building a business… Building a business is hard… super hard. The highs are high, and the lows are low… keep going. 💪 Your mornings are earlier, and your nights are later than ever. You spend more time with your clients and candidates than with your own family. "Afterwork drinks” with your closest colleagues/mates is now a glass of wine in front of your laptop… cheers. 🍻 🍻 🍻 *Perfection is overrated*... just start, and iterate as you build. 🏗 You no longer count down the hours… you wish you had more of them. ⏳ There is an overwhelming sense of freedom and purpose. 🆓 You no longer hit snooze on your alarm clock. Preparation, focus, and discipline are key. Coffee shops are the new “WeWork.” Every day is different. *Cliché Alert* The hardest part so far?... Starting. Just go for it and start… It's worth it. #saas #sales #customersuccess #recruitment 🐦 James Bergl Machiel Kunst
