Do not take the liberty that your ship has come in. Video illusions are mind-bending digital creations that exploit the limitations of human perception. By manipulating visual cues, perspective, and motion, these illusions create captivating experiences that challenge our understanding of reality. From objects seemingly defying gravity to people disappearing before our eyes, these videos offer a glimpse into the fascinating world where sight can be deceiving and the boundaries between the real and the impossible blur. #video

Every Design Fails someone' Once again, it’s worth hammering home: no single thing can explain everything, and no single thing should even try. It takes the interplay of all things to make sense of all things. Contexts aren’t interchangeable or reducible to clean-cut ideals. To simplify, generalize, or universalize is to murder the peculiarities of every actor, every scene, boiling them down into predictable reruns of the same tired script. A persona? It’s nothing more than a rough sketch, a shaky stand-in for a class, let alone a reflection of the singular chaos of an individual. An individual is infinite..like the universe itself. But even infinity is just a magic trick we pull with words. Try to define it, even imagine it, and you’ll smash into a wall faster than you can say “boundless.” There are truths, yes, but no one, singular Truth. Every form of knowledge cages its own kind of truth, locking itself into the rituals of its own inquiry, circling endlessly like a dog chasing its tail..truth devouring truth, regress after regress. And yet, occasionally, one cage intersects with another. The bars bend, the grand prison expands, and the illusion of understanding gains a little more glitz, a little more reach. But it’s still just that: a trick of the light, a grander trap. Isn't it? #postpositive #thinking

Superpowers is not shooting lasers from your eyes like Superman or Homelander, or running with sonic speed like Flash or A-Train, None of those. Superpowers are not what Hollywood or Netflix tends to display. Super powers are the little things we humans tend to ignore. Just like an adage will say; “The littlest of things make a big difference.” When this practiced for long, no matter how atomic it may be, it translate into an Atomic Habit. And, the compound effect would amaze you. In my very opinion superpowers is: - Saying no. - Letting go. - Vibing high. - Not reacting. - Being yourself. - Loving yourself. - Feeling and healing. - Owning your bullshit. - Minding your business. - Enforcing your boundaries. - Doing inner and shadow work. - Ignoring judgment and projection. - Not owning others' emotions and energy. Those are superpowers worth having. Do you have any to add? What are your superpowers? #TGIF #BeingHuman

Crystal Clickers VR For my bachelor's project I aimed to enhance VR gaming experiences by developing the "Crystal Miners Clicker VR Game," which combines engaging VR interaction mechanics with the addictive elements of idle/clicker games to improve user immersion and engagement. The game has been successful in providing an engaging VR experience by focusing on intuitive gameplay and addressing common discomforts associated with prolonged VR use, such as overheating and dizziness. This approach helps in reducing player stress and mitigating potential issues related to VR gaming addiction. Sometimes, especially after long periods of intense work, I catch myself wondering: “Why am I even doing this? What’s the point?” I’m lucky I found an answer for myself early in my game development journey. It came from watching Grounded: The Making of The Last of Us (https://lnkd.in/eXBmsRKd). Seeing a team of passionate professionals push boundaries to create a game that is both fun and meaningful made me realize: this is the kind of journey I want to be part of. I was especially inspired by how every individual strived to contribute to making a great game, with a story players could believe in and an experience they’d never forget. Later, I discovered the book Creativity, Inc. by Ed Catmull (https://g.co/kgs/evN6H2y). It’s filled with valuable insights on working in creative teams, balancing startup energy with corporate structure (like Pixar’s merger with Disney), and making tough decisions in the creative process. But one quote stood out to me the most: “Candor could not be more crucial to our creative process. Why? Because early on, all of our movies suck. That’s a blunt assessment, I know, but I choose that phrasing because saying it in a softer way fails to convey how bad the first versions really are. I’m not trying to be modest or self-effacing. Pixar films are not good at first, and our job is to make them so—to go, as I say, ‘from suck to not-suck.’” This resonated deeply with me. Often, when I’m working on a project somewhere in the middle, I think: “This is terrible. This shouldn’t be seen by anyone.” But knowing that even Pixar’s greatest creators felt the same way about the early drafts of their best films reminds me that this is just part of the process. You have to keep going, improving what isn’t working, or sometimes even rethinking the entire vision. And the last thing. Recently, I watched the RoboDoc: The Creation of Robocop (https://lnkd.in/eN-G_zQs) documentary, which I highly recommend to all fans of the movie. But what really impressed me is how even a seemingly simple concept—a potential B-tier superhero action movie with a “teen-friendly” title—can become something meaningful. With enough thought and effort, even a seemingly superficial idea can turn into a layered and impactful work (examples like Joker or the Penguin series come to mind). Beneath the surface of the action lies a cyberpunk-inspired dystopia where corporations merge with governments and crime to gain unchecked power, sharp societal satire, and a deeply personal story about the hero’s immortal soul, steeped in Christian motifs. At the same time, you don't need to notice all these layers to enjoy the film. You can watch it as a straightforward action movie and have fun (like I did as a kid), or revisit it as an adult and discover all these deeper themes that make it so much more. And what motivates you? Which books or documentaries would you recommend? What insights have you taken from them?
