🛑 Innovation in Sport 👉 I'm a fan of Altman Solon's work no less than Xavi Hernandez's at FC Barcelona last season. ⭕ Another installment of the great Altman Solon 2023 Global Sports Survey - this time on Innovations in Sport. Below are just a few of the insights: ◾ By 2030, 79% of sports executives predict that AI-powered content creation and management will significantly impact sports media. This underscores AI's expanding role in streamlining creation, editing, metadata and planning processes. ⚒ ◾61% of executives foresee major cost reductions and operational efficiency gains due to remote production technologies. ✂ 💵 ◾A significant number (74%) of sports leaders anticipate content #localization and #virtual #advertising to be transformative. 🌍 ◾Cloud-based workflows are viewed as crucial for these innovations, with 64% of executives expecting their impact to be substantial. ☁ I encourage you to read it 📖, comment it 🗣 and give a thumbs up 👍 to the authors from Altman Solon. ◾ A great piece of meaty reading.

Digital innovation continues to accelerate in sport, with a growing set of AI-powered companies – from STATSports to ORRECO and Infinite Athlete – now revolutionising not just how athletes train and compete, but the dynamics of fan engagement.    Brands in this space will represent a massive opportunity for partnerships teams at sports rights-holders, as the companies invest in sponsorships to raise their profile and maintain their (currently rapid) growth trajectory.
