Cool product update! We are pleased to announce the integration of AI at Meta LLAMA 3 70B with the APEXE3 Big Data Analytics Architecture and our A.L.I.C.E Rag pipeline. Hosted on dedicated APEX NVIDIA GPUs, this deployment ensures complete end to end privacy and security throughout the processing chain. LLAMA 3 models represent a substantial advancement over their predecessors, setting a new benchmark in large language model (LLM) technology. These models are at the forefront of the industry due to enhancements in both pretraining and post-training phases. At the 8B and 70B parameter scales, they ranked highly amongst the best-performing open-source models available today, according to multiple metrics (See comments section for link to benchmarks). This upgrade empowers users of APEX ALICE with cutting-edge capabilities in summarisation and report interrogation. Today is the beginning of our moonshot to solve embodied AGI in the physical world. I’m so excited to announce Project GR00T, our new initiative to create a general-purpose foundation model for humanoid robot learning. The GR00T model will enable a humanoid robot to understand multimodal instructions, such as language, video, and demonstration, and perform a variety of useful tasks. We are collaborating with many leading humanoid companies around the world, so that GR00T may transfer across embodiments and help the ecosystem thrive. GR00T is born on NVIDIA’s deep technology stack. We simulate in Isaac Lab (new app on Omniverse Isaac Sim for humanoid learning), train on OSMO (new compute orchestration system to scale up models), and deploy to Jetson Thor (new edge GPU chip designed to power GR00T). Announced in Jensen's GTC keynote, Project GR00T is a cornerstone for the “Foundation Agent” roadmap of the newly founded GEAR Lab.
